-Alarm clock goes off-

Pikachu wakes up after the alarm goes off

Pikachu: Yawns

Pikachu then hops over to his trainer, Ash Ketchem, and slaps him with his tail. But ash just continues to snore this makes Pikachu annoyed so he shots thunderbolt on his trainer, but he still doesn't get up. Then the door to his room opens and there stood his mother Delia Ketchem

Delia: Ash Ketchem are you still asleep you'll be late getting to Professor Oak's lab

She walks over and hits his cheek and then a few loud noises were heard from the house

Ash Mum! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP!!

Delia: Because you insisted that you could get up by yourself

-Timeskip-

Ash and Pikachu run towards the Lab to meet Professor Oak

Ash: PROFESSOR OAK

Oak: Oh, its ash

Ash: What do you want to talk to me about

Oak: A protege of mine has just opened up a new research facility in vermilion city and I was hoping to invite you to the opening ceremony. You will come right?

Ash: Yeah!

ash then turns to Pikachu and smiles brightly

Ash: You'll come too right buddy

Pikachu nods and Delia walks in with Mr mime or Mimey

Delia We'd love to

Mimey: Mime Mime Mime

Ash and Pikachu both turn around

Ash: Mum?

Delia: I came to drop off you lunch but what a great idea all those delicious, sweet shops! oh and Fashion boutiques in vermilion city

Ash: You're not coming with us right....

Delia runs over to the car and Mimey follows

Delia: let's go!

Ash points out Pokémon as they drive

Oak: It seems your love for Pokémon hasn't changed ash, tell me ash is your dream still to be a Pokémon master?

Ash: There's no doubt about that but now I'm going to be a Pokémon master with my buddies by my side

Pikachu cheers and Delia and Mimey smile

Oak: We're here I'll go to park the car; you go on I'll catch up with you

A yamper waddles over

Yamper: Yamp grrrrrrr!

Ash: Woah! A Pokémon I haven't seen before, but you're such a cutie, what's you name little guy, let me pet you for a little

Ash picks up the yamper and pets it much to yamper's discomfort and he eventually shocks ash

A girl walks by and sees the smoked-up trainer as she has just came home

Chloe: Hello Yamper I'm home uhm

She stares at ash and decides to walk straight past him

Oak: Ash if you don't get a move on, you'll miss the ceremony
