Working My Way Back to Mew

We begin with Goh staring at his pokédex

Goh: Why does my phone screen look like this?

Cerise: Your pokédex has two distinct functions the first tells a Pokémon's type and biological data. the second gives you an overview on the pokemon you caught, with each new capture your rotom phone updates the index 

Y/n: Neat

Ash: Cool I didn't know I could do that

Goh: This makes me want to catch even more pokemon to light up every spot

Ash: Then lets go no time like the present, Rigth Y/n!

Y/n nods well petting pikachu who nuzzles into Y/n's hand more 

-Timeskip: The field- 

Goh: This way!

Ash: wow it looks like there'll be plenty of pokemon to catch here

Goh: And i brought tons of pokeballs so i can catch them 

he shows his bag that's full of pokeballs to ash

Ash: Awesome!

Y/n looks around 

Goh: Hay Y/n are you catching any pokemon today 

Y/n: Huh? Oh no I already caught the first part of kanto pokedex 

Goh: Cool... Wait.. What!

He turns back to Y/n who tills his head

Y/n: What?

Goh: You have them all already 

Y/n: Well yeah i was staying with Professor Oak for a while and would go to the woods from time to time 

Goh: Anyway look at for any pokemon

Scorbunny hears a pidgey in a tree

Goh: Go pokeball

Ash: wait goh! not right away!!

Goh sees it and tries to throw a pokeball but it misses and pidgey spots them and uses gust to blow it away 

Goh: Why'd it have to use gust

Y/n: Want a tip, Not every pokemon wants to be caught like scorbunny and they will most likely fight back 

Goh: Okay, scorbunny lets find another pokemon

Scorbunny uses his ears and heard a pidgeotto in a tree not to far away. It runs towards it causing a lot of commosion, which leads to the pidgeotto seeing them and flies away making the 3 trainers come to a stop

Goh: You've got some good ears, don't you? But if you make a big fuss the pokemon will run away so no matter what you've got to stay calm 

Then a diglett pops up scaring Y/n who hides behind Ash before realising it was just a diglett and calms down

Ash: Woah it's diglett 

Goh: Now is my chance 

Scorbunny charges in and tries to grab it making Pikachu face palm 

Goh: Come on what did i just tell you, scorbunny please listen, come back here

Goh starts chasing scorbunny as Ash sratches the back of his head

Y/n: It's kind sad to watch this

Ash: Yeah i agree 

quickly the 2 other trainers chase after their friends as a dugtrio appears
