After some time which seemed eternal, you awoke once again, this time with enough blood to keep your mind working. You looked around curiously to find your life saviour, who was none other than Mika. You could see him eating some bread with meat to help him produce more blood, to back up the one he donated to you.

"Mika, are you feeling well?"
"Yeah Y/N, luckily I had just eaten before, and now after the transfusion I'm doing so again so I'm feeling perfectly fine. How about you? Thank the heavens I have one of the most versatile blood types, 0+"
"Thanks to you I'm doing nice so far. Speaking of which... Where are the others?"
"Most of them returned home, however Yuu stayed to keep watch and make sure to warn us if any vampires came."
"I see, It's really nice of him! I think I can walk normally now, so let's return home now together"
"I agree, let's get going"

After that small conversation, Mika and you went to were Yuu was staying. Although you could walk, sometimes you would feel dizzy and get some help from Mika's shoulder to keep standing up, which made the poor boy struggle to keep balance and composure, because as we know he felt that warmness inside him when you were close to him. Not that he didn't like that though. He felt extremely proud that he was able to save your life once again, and without a doubt he would do so whenever needed again.

Little did he know, that as you spent more time with him, you started to feel this intense feeling some stories call love, while others call it affection. This feeling that provoked you to cling towards Mika was growing at an uncontrolled pace.

Who knows what will happen when both of your emotional hearts finally bloom...

Both of you managed to reach your home with Yuu helping from time to time. Just when you entered, you jumped straight to the bed and fell asleep quickly.
You felt as the blankets embraced your body, making your consciousness drift somewhere far away, away from the real and catastrophic world.

MIKA POV

Y/N sure is a fast sleeper. Well, it is fair thinking about everything that happened today.
I can't help but stare at her beautiful sleeping face, it is the personification of peace. Not just physically but mentally too, her calmed and clear mind helps me keep mine at ease too, it really is yet another wonderful cuality that she possesses.
Anyways, I should stop looking at her, I am such a creep...

Looks like everyone is already asleep, good. It is time for my meeting with him, as promised. I hope that today I'll manage to gain something useful.

I slowly got up from my place and tip toed outside of the little house. Afterwards I ran to get on time to the mansion in the centre of the city, Lord Ferid's. Ferid Barthory is the 7th progenitor, making him a really important and powerful noble amongst vampires. The fact that I was able to trade my blood in exhange of cuality ingredients and food was unbelievably fortunate. Well, it was thanks to that weird attraction he has towards younger ones...

"Mikaela! I see you finally arrived, you sure did take your time"
"I'm sorry Lord Ferid, my family took longer than expected to fall asleep, hence I couldn't leave the house."
"Do not worry Mika, you know you are welcome here whenever, as long as you keep that delicious blood of yours as tasty as it is~"

Afterwards, Ferid almost teleported behind me and sunk his fangs deep into my collarbone, sucking my blood.
I started feeling a little dizzy, due to my recent blood loss while donating to Y/N, but I decided to keep going.

He didn't seem to stop, so I tried to pull away. It seemed this way he realised he almost killed me, and this made him go away.
"Thank you for the snack Mika-chan, but why is it that today you lasted so little? Was today's harvest too much?"
"Yeah, that was it. Sorry" I lied "I was wondering, could I tag along your place for a while? Here it is warmer than at my house, so I'd like to warm myself up so I don't catch a cold"
"Why of course you can my child! Go, go to your heart's content. Please tell me before you leave though"
"I will, thank you very much"

Thanks to Barthory I was able to inspect the library in search for any important documents. At first glance I didn't find anything, just some Christian texts that talked about the types of angels and their organisation. There were the ones closer to god, the seraphs; the intermediate ones, the virtues; and the ones closer to us humans, the archangels. I didn't think much of it so I just kept on looking, when I found a map of the entire city. Obviously I decided to keep it, and I put it in my bag.

After finishing searching the library, I decided I'd try to enter Ferid's room. Quietly, I unlocked his door and made it to the ugliest bedroom I had ever seen. I swear, it was so horrific that I almost ran to the exit and gave up my search. Luckily I didn't, because there I found his golden revolver. Obviously, I kept it.

YUICHIRO POV

Yawn I am SO TIRED!!! WHY THE HELL DID I WAKE UP??!
Tch, I guess it was Mika who did so. I am so going to hit him in the face...

Wait, where is he?

Oh no, don't tell me he went to that blood sucker's place again...
