Lauren's POV

I stood up at the alter holding Cody's hands. He looked so handsome and even took out his lip ring. He looked a little weird without it to be honest. Cody smiled when he noticed me staring. I smiled back and tuned back in the priest.

"If anyone has any reason why these two shouldn't be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." He said. Just then the doors of the church slammed open.

"I object!" Pete slurred, stumbling into the church, obviously drunk.

"Pete!" Patrick yelled. I groaned and put my head in my hands.

"I...love this woman! S-She belongs with me!" Pete announced stumbling up to the alter.

"Pete, god, please sit down." I begged.

"I love you Lauren!"

"I don't love you anymore! You cheated on me and broke my heart. Why can't you just understand that this is your fault. This could've been us up here, but I'm glad it's not because I just saved myself." Pete looked as if he was slapped in the face. My mom had picked up Lyric who was grabbing for Pete.

"Daddy...daddy!" Lyric struggled. Pete looked from Lyric to me.

"We have a daughter Lauren. She's not even two yet and her parents already split." Pete said seriously. It made me question how drunk he really was.

"And who's fault was that?" I countered coldly. Pete went quiet. He looked around and simply walked out of the church. Elisa moved over to me.

"Lauren, are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, we just need to get this over with." I replied. After a short three minute break, the wedding was back in motion. Cody and I recited our vows and then time came to put on the rings.

"Do you, Lauren Nicole Stumph, take Cody Charles Carson to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked.

"I do." I smiled.

"And do you, Cody Charles Carson, take Lauren Nicole Stumph to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked looking at Cody.

"I do." He smiled at me.

"Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest said. Cody smiled at me some more and pulled me to him. He kissed me softly as the whole church clapped and cheered. We ran down the aisle and outside. All the women gathered around so I could throw my bouquet. I threw it blindly and Patty's girlfriend, Dottie, caught it.

"See you soon Patty." Cody teased a blushing Patty. I giggled and slid into the limo to get to the wedding party. So, we were officially married. And boy did it feel good.

*Wedding Party*

I stood over by some of my parents friends talking about Cody and plans for the future. It was pretty boring. Patrick walked up behind me.

"Hey Mrs. Carson." He smiled opening his arms.

"Don't say that, you make me feel old." I giggled falling into his embrace.

"I just can't believe it. Lauren, you've done some serious growing up in the last year or two that I didn't know you were capable of. You were in you first serious relationship, had a beautiful baby girl, went through your first serious break up, but you bounced back up. Then you found someone who loves your daughter as much as you and got married. I'm just, I'm just in awe and I'm so happy for you." Patrick wiped his eyes a bit and I kissed his cheek.

"The only reason I'm like this today is because of those who raised me. Thank you Patrick." I smiled. Cody came up behind Patrick and tapped his shoulder.
