Nova paces back and forth, Blue is not calling her since yesterday. She needs to know if the subject is safe, another threat was discovered at Ms. Hermoso's place, one of their spy was scanning the area and found that improvise bomb outside the woman's place.

Why the hell is that asshole not calling me?. Nova stated firmly.

Blue was driving steadily along the highway, when she noticed the black Sudan on her tail. She got suspicious since she already passed three intersections and it's still there. She got more alert and looked at the review mirror again. She looks at the woman sleeping in the passenger seat and she lets out a slow breath. She knows she has to do something to lose that possible threat, she won't take any chances. Good thing they are at the city which is like 2 hours away from where they are going.

She forcely make a big turn on her left the moment she saw an intersection, when she look back she now confirms that its really following the. Come and get me assholes. She mustered.

What was that?. Lourdes suddenly asked looking distress.

We are being followed, stay calm and I promise I'll lose them. Blue confidently said.

The woman is holding tight in the seatbelt and closing her eyes when suddenly they feel a big impact behind from the Sudan, the agent smiled and drove the car to the right lane and slowed down to level with the one pursuing them. Blue aggressively smashed the car twice that it lost control that made it bumped on the side part of road. When she looked back the car was smoking with its head smashed through the tree, winshield completely destroyed. She notice that one man was alive crawling his way out of the smoking car, standing amd looking directly where they are driving. Probably calculating where she would take the target.
Blue made a turn back to the city and drove to the opposite road, she can't let them know where they are going. She knows the man earlier was watching where they were headed to contemplate for the next plan. She made sure that she confused them. That was not their way, she made them believe that it was.

Blue stops when she hears a sob. Making her heart beats fast. She looked at her right side.

Why are you crying? They are gone now. You are okay. She panics and stops the car.

Handed her the handkerchief.

Her hand stays in mid-air.

The warmth. The comfort. The blissful feeling.

Loudes hugging her tight. Trembling and sobbing.

It pained her seeing her like this.

She hugged her back. Even tighter.

Securing her on her arms.

Sshhh, it's okay. I'm here.

Please don't leave me. I need you now by my side. I feel like I can't do it alone. The woman said between sobs.

By what she said, the agent got emotional. She longs for those words, she'd never thought that she would hear it again after years of longing.

I'm not going anywhere, I will make sure you are safe. I promise.

They stayed in that position for more than a minute, the agent trying to calm her down and the woman getting all the courage from the other.

Hearing you say that made me nostalgic. You don't know how much I long for you to say it before. Funny how I get the same feeling after I hear you say that but we are not on the same situation anymore. I'm here for a different reason and that is to keep you safe. Blue painfully said to himself.
