Of course I slightly panicked when i found out we had a new member. Then I had a full fledged meltdown when i realized they were arriving TODAY. I mean I didn't cry or anything, but I didn't exactly know how to process this. We were already a month into our career. How could we just add someone new?
I wondered if we weren't doing good enough. Maybe we were too cliche. Or our Engene's were getting bored of us. Maybe we were too repetitive, and the Engene's needed something new. Of course there were always haters, and every once in a while I would see a post about why someone was leaving the fandom but I didn't think it was that bad. I wanted to talk to Heeseung about this, seeing I had little to no information but he seemed a tad bit busy. Calming down Jungwon for some reason i had yet to know, telling Jay he had to "promise not to bully the newbie on the first day", and keeping him from cooking a 17 course meal that could burn the house down.
We were all sleeping when at 1:30am our phones all buzzed. I was to tired to bother check mine, but when I heard a scream from Heeseung's room I had no problem getting up. Neither did anyone else it seemed, because soon all 7 of us were sitting in the living room discussing the message. Or soon to be 8 of us you could've said.
