Hunter's POV:
I'm out of breath
My legs are getting tired
These hallways are so long
He's getting further away
I've been running down the big hallways of the castle chasing my echo mouse Theo
I accidentally left my door cracked open while I was cleaning his cage
I'm going to get in so much trouble if uncle finds out he escaped
I've got to catch him
Theo takes a sharp turn and I turn the corner after him before I run into a tall coven head and fall to the ground
I look up to see Raine Whispers Eberwolf and the person I ran into looking down at me
I got up off the ground and bowed down to Darius
"D-Darius! I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."
Darius gave me a purely annoyed look while rubbing the bridge of his nose
"It's alright little Prince, but watch where you're going, and don't let 'this' get out again."
Darius held out Theo holding him by the tail
Darius really doesn't like Theo he says that he is a dirty rat with germs but Darius hasn't forced me to get rid of him yet
I took Theo from Darius and held him close "Thank titan you didn't get outside. Thank you for grabbing him Darius!"
"You're welcome. Go to your room and put him in his cage. Remember about the meeting tonight little prince."
"Yes sir!" I left the group to do what Darius asked of me and prepare for the meeting
Darius' POV:
"I wish he would stop losing that animal. It's disgusting."
"You like it when Theo gets loose. It gives you the chance to check up on him." Raine smirked
I gasped "That is not true! Why would I check on him? He's not my kid."
Eber spoke up making me wish that I couldn't understand him before Raine started laughing "He's right, you do wish he was yours!"
I roll my eyes at the two "You're both ridiculous. I'm going to finish up some paperwork. See you at the meeting."
Raine chuckled calling after me "Bye, Dad-rius!" Before both him and Eber doubled over laughing
○Later○
Hunter's POV:
The meeting was boring all I did was stand in the corner listening and staying completely still the only thing that sounded interesting was about some biped demon stealing power glyphs and stealing Kikimora's hand dragon
As we all disbanded Raine Whispers pulled me to the side while Eberwolf and Darius stood in front of us probably so the other coven heads didn't see
Raine knelt down to my hight with a smile plastered over his features "Hey, Hunter-"
I held my hand up in front of Raine "Don't say my name in the halls. The Emperor wants me to be anonymous."
Raine frowned slightly before regaining his smile "Of course. I'm sorry, Golden Gaurd. Do you think you could help me for a bit?"
I glanced to the three coven heads around me wondering if something was wrong "I suppose. Does my Uncle know of this?"
I saw them glance at each other leaving no doubt in my mind that my Uncle hadn't heard of this "You see, we think that someone is going to make an attack on the Emperor. But, we don't want to worry him unless we are sure."
My eyes widened and I took of my mask just the slightest bit so Raine Darius and Eberwolf would see my face "Wild Witches are going to attack the Emperor!?"
Raine held my shoulders signaling for me to stay quiet while Eberwolf and Darius looked towards each other with eyes of pitty "You've got to be quiet, okay? We need to keep this a secret if we want to catch them."
I nodded putting on a grim expression "I understand. What do you need from me?"
"For you to come to my room so we can talk in private?" Raine said in a somewhat asking way in which I didn't expect
"Of course. Anything I can do to help the Emperor." I put my mask back on earning a dour look from the coven heads before following the three to Raine's room
Kiki's POV:
That brat is talking to the coven heads Eberwolf Raine Whispers and Darius Deamonne and it looks like they are plotting something
Maybe if I tell the Emperor of this he'll get rid of that bug and make me his new right hand oh I've got to tell him about this right away
