*Rustle*

The sound of movement had startled Alberto to manage to awake him. Alberto stood up, startled, wondering what happened.

Alberto, as curious of what happened and then felt the same necklace that he's been crying over from not long ago. The pendant on the necklace shone bright from the small amount of sunshine that shown in the train car. Alberto smiled gently as he held it then took time to realize that he fell asleep. He shot to a satchel in a fast motion and began digging through his satchel to find his map. But he was quickly interrupted.

*Rustle*

Alberto paused. He slowly lifted his head and stared at a pile of hate in front of him. He gently leaned forward and stretched out his arm towards the hay pile when...

*POUNCE*

"AHH!" Alberto screamed as he fell back and covered his face. Thoughts of what thing could've possibly be waiting to eat him when, the gentle feeling of something licking his face. Alberto took his hands off his eyes and looked over curiously and saw small black kitten sitting on his chest. Alberto picked up the kitten off of his chest as he sat up. The small cat was held innocently in Alberto's hands. Alberto examined the kitten and noticed a similar shade of green they both had for their eyes. Alberta smiled, "Who knew that a cat could have such bright eyes." he said. Alberto set the cat down and said "Sorry for screaming, you startled me" Alberto said with a gentle laugh after.

Alberto then went back to his satchel and then began looking for his map. Once he found it, Alberto began doing math and guessed how far he was since that morning. "Seems like i'll be close to arriving Turin by tomorrow evening at the latest" Albert who said while folding his
map shut. Alberto laid against the wall of the train car and let out a long sigh. Alberto looked at the roof of the train car and let his mind wander.

"I wonder what would be like to have someone to just..." he paused. "Talk with me..someone who understands why I've been running this whole time". Alberto felt empty after saying those words. It's been so hard for him.Being alone for 6 years, travelling Italy with just himself.

"I wonder maybe I'll finally meet someone in Turin who makes me feel...whole" Alberto said with an ache in his voice. His whimpered as he took his eyes off the roof and towards the open area of the train car that let him see the earth move as he watched from inside. Alberto could see a lake, much piger than the one he use to play in as a kid, By this lake was many trees of different shapes, sizes and styles. There were mountains as well, ones that had stood in the background, green and tall. Alberto's face didn't change, just looking at the biome had made his miss home more. Of course he didn't miss his father, he's the only reason Alberto had left.

Alberto did begin to wonder what his father must've thought when he released his son was no longer at home. Did Bruno miss his son?

Alberto just continued to look out and see the area, but when he didn't release it, the small black kitten crawled up onto his lap. Startled, Alberto looked down at the kitten as it laid down all cuddled up in his lap. Alberto let out a warm smile. Alberto petted the small cat's head and hummed a small tune his mother had sung to him. While humming the kitten turned its head around and looked at Alberto with its bright green eyes. Alberto looked at the kitten. "What?" He asked in curiosity. The kitten blinked.

"You want me to sing?" Alberto asked. The kitten just tilted its head to the side in curiosity. "Ok fine, but I'm not a very good singer" Alberto said while rubbing his neck. Alberto closed his eyes and sang

Edelweiss, Edelweiss ev'ry morning you greet me
Small and White
Clean and Bright
You look happy to meet me
Blossem of snow may you bloom and grow
Bloom and grow forever
Edelweiss, edelweiss
Bless my homeland forever

Alberto re-opened his eyes to look and realize that the small kitten had fallen asleep. Alberto chuckled. He leaned over to his satchel and picked up a little cloth that had some food inside. He opened the cloth to find some bread and some cut vegetables that he had put inside from a day or two ago. It didn't seem to be very filling, but it'd for sure do the trick.

Alberto began to snack on the food as he heard the train whistle out. Alberto almost jumped from his sitting area. He quickly closed the cloth full of food. Then he gently picked up the kitten and placed it gently in between some hay piles. If you hadn't guessed already, when a trains whistle blows it means two things, one someone wanted the train diver to pull it for fun, or two, the train was coming into a station.

Alberto darted to his belongings and began shoving them into his satchel. Alberto swung the satchel over his shoulder and ran to a back corner of the train car. Alberto did NOT need to be caught in this moment. Alberto sat in the corner and began covering himself with hay so no one could see him. Alberto's breathes we're heavy but he calmed down and breathed slower. This is when Alberto heard voices.

"Alright so there's about 47 orders of hay in here for the farmers, I'll need every last straw removed from this train car by tomorrow afternoon, you here me?" A man declared. A squeakier voice spoke. "Yes sir I'll make sure me and other men with have all hay removed from this train car and delivered before Wednesday evening". "Good lad" The man from before spoke.

Alberto had a slight panic. Every single piece of hay?! He'll be surely caught! Alberto didn't even release but after hearing those words he let out a small "What?!". Alberto covered his mouth.

"Did you here that boy?" The man spoke. "Here what sir?" The squeaky boy asked. "It's sounds like there is someone in here...that isn't in the seating area" The man spoke with slight anger in his tone. "You boy, go gather some of your fellow workers, I want this train car cleaned and checked. It seems we have an unwanted visitor" The man said. "Yes, uh right away sir" the boy spoke. The boys feet had ran against what seemed to be stone. But the man, he still stayed. Alberto gently dug himself from under the hay and just slowly peaked over some hay piles to look at this mysterious man.

The man was quite short actually, he was round too. He had brown hair that had a flat hat that stood on top. He also had a broom like moustache that stood above and nearly covered his mouth. The man also wore some quite expensive looking clothes. Alberto felt scared,  what would they do if they found him?! Even worse, what if they'd find out he was a sea monster?! They'd surely have him killed and skinned. Alberto gulped hard, but didn't release how loud he was. The man looked over in the direction of the sound and barley could see Alberto, but could see some of his hair.

"You there! Show yourself!" The man yelled. Alberto squeaked and hid back in the corner. "If you don't come out I'll have some of my men come to look for you! Then there will be much more consequences then if you come now!". Alberto panicked. What could he do?!

"Sir, the men are on there way." The squeaky boy said as he returned. "Good lad, have you also heard anything from my son as well?" The man questioned the boy. "Not much sir, nothing besides that your side man has said to tell you that your son still refuses to leave his room" The squeaky boy replied. The man sighed. "What will I ever do with that boy" The man said slightly upset. Alberto grew curious, this angry like man had a son? Alberto was really curious about this son of his.

"Anyway boy I want you to begin searching for this person that is hiding, I'll send the other men this way once I see them". The man spoke. "Yes sir" The boy spoke. Alberto heard the sound of footprints beginning to walk around the wood floor of the train car. No more voices were heard, just footprints around and around the train car. Alberto stood still as possible, but grew harder

because he could hear footsteps just inches away from where he sat....
