Linh's POV:

Marella is struggling to stop laughing as we make our way towards the shores, like Tam asked.
We both thought it was odd that there was a child poking her head into view, because neither of us have seen her before, not that we knew Keefe very well. but we thought that we would know if Keefe has a sibling.

"He looked so shocked and annoyed." Marella wheezes, bending over and I have to stop for her again

"Oh my goodness Marella," I roll my eyes, smiling as the pyrokinetic grins up at me, "Breathe, I'm sure he'll explain it all to us when we get to him."

"But still!" Marella yelps as I grab her wrist and start to drag her

"We will be the last to arrive Mar."

"I knooooooooowwwwwwwwww."

"SO HURRY UP!"

"Yes! Sorry Linh!"

We finally make it, to see that everyone except Dex has arrived, to my immense relief. Goodness knows what Tam would have been thinking if Mar and I were the last to arrive. I would never hear the end of it... actually, that's more my style.

"Who's your friend?" I tease, walking over to the child that's hiding behind Tam, clutching onto one of his legs,

"Marina," Tam rolls his eyes, "Please let go of my leg."

"This?" the child... Marina? demands

"Marina, this is my sister Linh," Tam introduces us, "Linh, this is Marina, the girl who pushed me into the ocean."

"I like you!" I smile, I would never be able to push him into the ocean

"You're nice hydrokinetic." Marina replies

I startle, staring at Tam who sighs, "I don't know! She knew I was a shade by just looking at me!"

Marina detaches herself from Tam's leg to grab my hand.

"Why's your face covered?" I ask her

"I can't tell you," Marina sighs dramatically, "It's too dark, the shadows will kill me."

"Tam's a shade," I tell Marina gently, "So he can take the shadows away."

"Shadows are different," Marina laughs, "They won't go away! not shades."

the wind whips at us, and the cloth covering her face brushes away for a moment, letting me see the scar across right eye, it isn't healed, shadows constantly spilling out of it, or maybe they're holding it together. I gasp, and she pulls the cloth mask down across her face

"That's why Kee wouldn't let me go."

"Kee?" I ask

"GUYS!" Tam calls before Marina gets the chance to answer, "COME OVER, I HAVE SOMEONE YOU NEED TO MEET."

"That's our call!" I grin at Marina who tilts her face towards me, before running to the crowd of our friends

okay, that was horrible, but I hope that you enjoy it! I'm sorry I paused for a while, I got a bit busy.

anyway, Thanks for 27 views!!!
