"donna?"

"bruce?"

"what are you doing here bruce?" donna said
"bruce are you okay?" donna said quickly walking up the stairs to bruce

bruce broke into tears and fell to the ground,
donna didn't know what to do but hug him

"what happened?" donna said

"my parents kicked me out, i had nowhere to go, and i don't know i just kept walking until i came here and the door was open and no one was here so i just stayed" bruce explained whole crying

"you walked all the way here?" donna asked
"i needed to clear my head, you know."
"yeah"

"why'd you get kicked out?" donna asked
"i don't want to talk about it" bruce said while wiping his tears
"it's ok" donna understood

"you live here?" bruce asked
"uhm no, i mean not really"
"what do you mean?"
"um well i was with the rest of them but um things got heated and i just came here i guess" donna said

"rest of them? theres more people?"
bruce said
"gwen, finney, robin, vance, and ruby"
donna said
"no wonder, you've all been missing back home."

"we are missing?" donna asked
"back home yeah, you guys are everywhere, i'll probably be next" bruce said

"is there two rooms here?" donna asked
"yup" bruce replied
"how about we just sleep this off and i clear my head for tomorrow and then i'll take you where everyone else is, how about that?" donna suggested

"sounds great" bruce said

the next morning donna had woken up to bruce knocking on the bedroom door
"whattt" donna said still tired

"wake up it's morning" bruce said opening the door
"i'll be out in a second" donna said getting up from the bed
"oki" bruce said excited to see the others.

donna had finally gotten ready
and walked down stairs to see bruce all ready to leave by the door

"your really ready huh" donna said
"mhm" bruce said with a big smile
"why are you so happy?" donna asked
"oh um nothing i , i just really want to see the others, you know." bruce said in a very obvious way that he was lying

"you sure?" donna asked
"mhm" bruce said opening the door and taking a step out

Donna and Bruce continued walking straight ahead and soon enough they saw the house

"you ready?" donna said
"why wouldn't i be!" bruce said very excited
donna just looked away and continued walking

they were finally in front of the door
"you knock" donna said
"ok" bruce said and knocked three times

couple minutes go by and someone opens the door
"who are you" vance said
"bruce" bruce said
"oh, hi" vance said as he widened the door so they could step in

"where's everyone" donna said
"why do you care" vance said
"just asking" donna said sitting down in the far couch
"in their rooms" vance said also sitting down on the main couch

"sit" vance said patting the sit next to him and bruce sat where vance was patting

"so why are you here?" vance asked
"um i got kicked out" bruce replied
"why"
"it doesn't matter"

ruby had woken up and went to the living room and saw them
"hi donna" ruby said
"hi"

"good morning my love" ruby said and she kissed vance

ruby looked over to see a random boy on their couch that looked like he had just found out he had 5 seconds to live

"hello" ruby said
"hi" bruce said and then looked down at his feet

his heart had just broke into a million little pieces

"are you okay?" vance asked
"yeah sorry" bruce said still looking down at his feet

"bruce come, let me show you where your room is" donna said dragging bruce with her

donna toke bruce into an empty room
"this is your room ok" donna said
"alright"

bruce step in and was looking around and donna closed the door for him
bruce saw there was a bathroom in his room so he went in and locked the door

he looked at himself in the mirror
he had watery eyes
red eyes
puffy eyes

shit

a single tear feel from his eye and he quickly wiped it off his face

*knock* *knock*

"hello?" bruce said in a sad cracky voice
"are you alright? can i come in" vance said shaking the door handle to see if it was open

bruce wiped his face once again and opened the door to see vance alone

"why were you crying?" vance said
"i um miss my parents" bruce said
"didn't they kick you out though" vance said not convinced at all that that was his reason he was crying

"liar"
"what do you mean, i'm not lying"
"yes you are"
"how"
"it's obvious bruce, now tell me why you really are crying" vance said while touching bruce's hand

"i don't know" bruce nervously said
"how do you not know" vance asked
"i don't want to talk about it"

"you never want to talk about it, i know we haven't talked but you can trust me" - vance

"i'm ok" bruce said

vance just looked at bruce in a
'seriously' face and walked out
a little upset that he wouldn't open up

backstory ig:
bruce and vance used to be "bestfriends" when they were little but their parents separated them because they thought they were too close and touchy,
they weren't wrong though,
it was obvious that both of them liked each other, they showed it,
they never hid those feelings from each other ,
robin made them kiss once
it was something they had the everyone wanted
but it was taken away from them so quickly.
