Third person perspective

Kara was on her sofa drinking her problems away she knew she needed help and the only one she knew who would be awake this timing was her big sister Alex. The sister knocked on the door and a drunk kara opened it 

"You look like a mess tell me what happened"- Alex says as she led her to the living room, Kara explained the whole situation to Alex who was in dismay afterwards she could not believe that her sister even agreed to such arrangement but she also realised how her sister have fallen for Barry Allen and she noticed how her sister's responsibility is getting in the way of that. Alex decided to get some take out for them to enjoy as she knocks some sense to her sister. Once the Chinese food came and her sister was buried in potstickers and begun her lecturing

"My dear sister you are in love with Barry Allen so tomorrow fix yourself up and get yourself together cause guy like him are once in a lifetime "- Alex. Kara sighed and just bawled her eyes out. Kara knew Alex was right but could Alex really blame her? With what she had experienced in the past was she really ready to let Barry Allen in? Alex stayed the night till Kara fell asleep once her younger sister was all settled she left the apartment and headed back to hers hoping Kara would open her heart once more.

Meanwhile..

Barry instead of heading back to he's apartment went to the bar to get drunk he couldn't call Cisco as he would be tired from the drive and the fact Cisco is helping him with the Vineyard. So he called Allison he didn't know why but he really needed the company. Allison was more than happy to join him to drink but mostly making sure Barry didn't take it over the top. The guy drowned himself in drink after drink till Allison had to practically threaten him to leave the bar. She drove him back to he's apartment and left a note and some aspirin for the next day, she sighed to herself as she drove away..

The next day..

Barry and Kara woke up on the wrong side of the bed like really, Barry was hungover while Kara was reminding herself that she needed to confess to Barry. She knew deep down her fears of getting hurt she knew barry was different and the past months of faking things she was happy really really happy. As she got herself together, Barry was dragging himself out of bed and into he's clothes before he was late for work. When he arrived Allison passed him a cup of coffee and he was dragged to he's lab where the second he sat down he's face was already on the table Half an hour later Kara came into the precinct asking an officer where Barry's lab was and she was directed upstairs..

Kara pov:

I walked into he's lab and he looked like shit honestly i walked up to him slowly and tapped on he's shoulder where he jolted up.

"What are you doing here?"- Barry asks rubbing he's eyes , i could tell how tired he was 

"I...um..needed to talk to you Barry"-I say shyly

"What is it"-Barry said getting up from the seat and walked towards the windows he's back facing me 

"I want to apologise Barry...about last night..i am just afraid, is no secret that i do have feelings for you that everytime you are around me i feel like i can be me that i do not have to handle all the pressure of being Danvers on my own..Barry i do like you i like you so much but Barry with my past and with my family i do not want to drag you any deeper than you already are, your a good guy Barry and you do not deserve to be tangled up in my complicated life.."- I let out trying to make sure my tears dont fall 

"You do not get it do you kara? i do not care about your past i do not care about any of them and speaking truthfully? i do not care about your family cause they are not you Kara, you are not them, and i like you for you Kara i like you and only you so hell push me away, but i won't leave you..."-He says finally turning to face me and before i know it i was in his arms

"barry.."-Kara

"Shhh..Kara i want you i want this..but do you?"- barry says stroking my cheek and when i looked up i was greeted by he's green eyes god how could you not fall for a guy like him i just smiled and nodded now tears of joy were falling and i was embraced once again..we stood where we were for what felt like forever before we broke apart

"How about a date tonight I will pick you up from Catco and tonight will be just us"- Barry

"I will be looking forward to it"- I say smiling and giving him a kiss on a cheek before i head back to my office i was still afraid deep down but Barry is different from the guys i was with..

I was in my office dreading for the time i was able to head home, lucky for me my man decided to be early as always and came in i didn't notice him as my focus was on my laptop till he stood behind my chair and placed a kiss on my cheek 

"When did you come"- I say standing up and put my arms around he's neck

"a few seconds ago i was able to get out of work early how bout you?"-Barry

"Hmm i did finish all my work..."- I say trailing off and see he's goofy smile

"Perfect let's go"- He says taking my hand and leading me to he's car we waved felicity goodbye and before i knew it barry allen was taking me out on a date...
