Love is in the air

Kara perspective:

Barry would not give me any hint about where he was bringing me

"Barry not even a small clue?"- I begged him in the car in return he just smiled and smirked at me i sighed and decide to scroll through my phone I could not even get through my article when he took my phone away from me

"No phones tonight Miss Danvers tonight is just me and you "- Barry says putting it in the back seat and interlocking our hands together i couldn't help but smile as he drew circles with his thumb he does not know the power he holds over me. Mum and Dad had always taught me to never let a guy get the best of me but barry allen has done otherwise. Soon i was transported out of my thoughts when i noticed we were at the highest point that overlooks the city. When i got out of the car there was a picnic all set up. I gave him a questioning look as he motioned for me to sit with him

"So why did you pick this place for our first official date?"- I ask as i see him open a bottle of champagne

"Well i figured we could use the privacy plus i couldn't find a restaurant "- Barry said handing me a glass

"Barr you know i don't need any fancy things i have you with me is all i ever need you worth to me more than any item that can be brought by money"-i mentioned as i place a hand on his cheek caressing it gently he smiles and took my hand and placed a kiss on it

"Kara Danvers you have no idea how much i like you, and you deserve everything and anything in this world and i promise you that i will work my hardest to provide you the life you deserve"- Barry, god i am so madly in love with this man how could i have no seen it before. We spent our time with Barry telling me stories about his childhood and him feeding me some chocolate covered strawberries and other snacks he bought. With Barry it felt like the weight on my shoulders were lifted I knew that he would never leave or hurt me and I knew deep down I would have to let him in but I needed time after my last relationship. After the stories we both just laid there watching the night sky although the stars were not that visible I enjoyed being in the arms of the man I love. We just laid there till eventually it was time to go back to my apartment. I asked him if it was possible for him to stay the night but Barry being Barry said he is better we took things slow

"I'll see you tomorrow okay?"- Barry said placing a kiss on my forehead i bit my bottom lip and he knew instantly what could end the night in the most magnificent way. He tucked my hair behind my ears and pulled me closer to him closing the Gap between us. I swear my stomach erupted with butterflies as our lips collided. I wanted the moment to last longer but we eventually had to pull away as air is a necessity 

"Goodnight"- He says i bid him farewell and closed my door i never felt this happy before and i have Barry to thank for that. I went to bed with a smile on my face...

Third person perspective:

The two lovers went in their beds with a smile stretched across their faces. Days went pass after their date and they hadn't been able to spend much time together as kara was flooded with work meetings after meetings not only with things related to Catco but her father wanted her to explore  more of their family buisness. As for Barry he was getting used to his new life of being a CSI and taking care of his family business as well thanks to kara's family and the money he had earned his vineyard was doing much better and eventually he will start selling them again. With their busy schedules it really was hard to find some alone time together. Kara had in mind to bring Barry along on one of her work trips to Europe but Barry was forced by his captain to go on a cop convection and him being new couldn't say no. Kara was now in her office after another long tiring meeting. She plopped down on her chair and decided to call her boyfriend, he unfortunately could not pick up as he was in a conference room listening to boring speakers but Alison was there with him suffering through the long talks as well about how police can improve their precincts. Kara knew she needed to get out of her busy schedule
