Y/N POV

"Ladies! And Tae. What are you doing next weekend?" Jimin arrives at your table in the crowded cafeteria. "Don't answer, I already know what you guys are doing." He doesn't even leave a second to respond and instead shoves a bunch of colorful flyers in our hands.

"Welcome new students" You read out loud and turn to look at him, confused.

"The yearly welcome party for the new students."

"Jimin, I know we are all burnt out and stuff, but you do know we all have one year left in this university, do you?" Mina starts teasing him, Jimin doens't talk back though, instead he just glares at her.

"Are we even allowed to go there?" You ask, still smiling from the staring contest that is going on infront of you right now.

"Who cares. The more people come, the better." Jimin shrugs with his shoulders and sits down across from you.

You were now about two weeks into the winter term. The october weather fully kicked in, which was fortunate for you, because you hated the heat.

"Hey! Get your own!"

"I'll buy you as many as you want babe." Taehyung says while munching on the fries he just snatched from your plate. You make a disfusted face and push your plate towards him, his eyes widening.

"Here, you can have them all." He doesn't question it and instead stuffs his mouth with even more fries, giving you a pleased smile after.

"Sounds like fun. Can we bring a plus one?"

You look over to Ada, who was now full on blushing. Everybody knew who her plus one would be by now. Namjoon and her went public a few days ago. Finally. It was so hard to keep secret.

"Yes, you can bring your lovely boyfriend with you Adalyn." Jimin teases her and Ada's cheeks turn more pink, if that was even possible.

"Still can't believe you two started hitting it off." Taehyung says as he looks at Ada who was happily texting on her phone, not paying any of us any attention.

"Aw, jealous much?" You nudge Taehyung's side and playfully pout.

"Me? Never. But.." He stops to swallow the dozen fries in his cheeks. "Everyone in our group sort of got something going on right now." You prop your elbows on the table, your head resting on your hands, ready to listen whatever Tae is going to talk about now. "Adalyn and Namjoon Hyung are basically done for, Megan... well you know her.." At the mention of her name, Megan almost crawls over the table to slap his head. "Jimin and Mina got this weird thing going on between them." He gestures at them both, who were thankfully sitting further away so they aren't able to hear him. "Jungkook is doing god knows what with all those chicks running after him."

You two haven't talked much ever since university started. You were all pretty busy with the new schedules and stuff, lunch time was basically the only time you all got together, beside a few get-togethers here and there.

As if it was planned, Jungkook walks into the cafeteria, a random girl you can't recognize walking with him, her grip on his arm tighter than her crop top. It was october, isn't she freezing?

You turn back to Taehyung who was still rambling on about something you had tuned out for now. From the corner of your eye you spot Jungkook sitting next to Jimin. He quickly greets everyone before he takes his tablet out, immediately being occupied with it.

"The only ones not having something going on are us two." You hear Taehyung finish his monologue.

"Doesn't sound like a problem to me." You take a sip out of your water bottle before you take the remaining frie on the plate.
