Y/N POV

"Dude what the fuck!" The sight of abs infront of you as Jake puts his shirt back down. You frown and follow his eyes to the person who dared to interrupt the fun. You find yourself looking at the much sexier vampire who was downing the shot that was in your hand a few seconds ago. The tequila shot doesn't even make him pull a face as he puts the shot back down on the table.

"That was mine!" You complain, him not even looking your way as he grabs a piece of lemon, biting into it. You watch him scrunch his nose from the sourness and can't help but giggle. He looks cute with a scrunched nose.

He on the other hand gives you a pissed face. The faint smile on your face leaves your face as fast as it appeared. He towers over you, you looking at him with the same death glare.

"You drank enough."

"But didn't you want me to have fun?"

"Don't take it too far y/n." He takes a step closer, his mouth barely opening as he grits the words through his teeth. Good. He was mad. Good.

Your eyes travel around his face. A flicker in his eyes. His sharp jawline, the muscles flexing. His nostrils flaring as he takes a deep breath. The lip piercing reflecting the purple light around you. And the red lipstick. The blood red smudged lipstick. As hot as that looked, it only reminded you of the fact that it wasn't you who made it look like that.

"None of your concern, I'm in good hands." You tilt your head at him, giving him an irritated look. He opens his mouth to say something but you don't give him a chance. Your gaze drops to his lips again and you scoff. "You should go have some fun as well, your Cheerleader must be waiting to be devoured by you."

"Y/n." He sighs, closing his eyes for a good 5 seconds. When he opens them again, the flicker from earlier was gone. He looked frustrated.

"Go." You mumble, the people around you not paying your little staring battle any attention, which you were thankful for. "That's what you can do best, right?" You look at him for a moment longer, until you turn on your toes and walk back to your friends. You don't bother to look back. Don't look over your shoulder as you sit with your back towards the spot were he was standing. Or not standing anymore. You didn't know.

A few seconds pass. You can't help it and turn around. He was gone. You frowned, not really knowing if you should be glad about it or not. At the end, you did tell him to go.

Not sure if you should stay put or go look for him you decide to take the already opened champagner bottle as you make your way downstairs. Some fresh air would be good for your brain right now. You open the doors and the cold night breeze hits your body. Thankfully the alcohol holds you warm for now.

You walk down the steps and lean on the walls of the building, slowly taking another sip from the bottle. Your peace gets disturbed by a strange man on the other side of the street.

"Hey beautiful, what are you doing out here all alone? Want some company?" He shouts at you before he crosses the street. Oh god no. You completely forgot that you are a woman, dressed in a minidress infront of a club at 1am.

At least your birthday was over.

Not reacting to whatever the man said you avoid eye contact. The grip on the bottle tightening, incase you had to use it as a weapon. You look up at the entrance doors, the bodyguards were occupied with someone else, not really paying attention to your direction.

Your body tenses when the man suddenly appears a few steps in front of you.

"Didn't you hear me?" He gives you a disgusting smile, his two front teeth not existing. You pull a disgusted face, but don't bother answering him, hoping he would just leave you alone. You look around, trying to not look panicked. There was nobody around. The street that was full of people a few moments ago was now swepts empty. What great timing.
