The years went by peacefully for our families. Teddy and I had three more children: Catherine, George, and Fredrick. I died in March of 1934 and he followed after me six months later, on what would have been our fifty-seventh wedding anniversary. Victoria went on to have three more children: Albert, Thomas, and Lavinia. She died first out of us daughters at the age of seventy – five. William had passed only two weeks before her. Sophia had a total of four children as well, counting Lydia. The other three were named Sterling, Elizabeth, and Joseph. She passed in 1932 while Nicholas had passed four years before her. She grieved his loss heavily. Papa had made it to seventy before he passed; we three sisters and our families were all at his bedside when he took his last breath.
All in all, our family was full of love for many years and our losses were felt deeply.
