FLOR'S POV
Another week passed and thank God I’m feeling better, I got back to work and Hannah was finally here. She came home yesterday barging in the house and enveloping me with a really tight hug and a whole lot of questions about how am I feeling.
It’s been a week since I last saw Harry and the other boys too, and as days go passed by I notice how seldom Harry text me now. It was okay when he was sending me thrice a day but now, none, as in zero text have I receive.
It made me furious knowing he was back to being a really big headed pop star again, every time I try to call him it automatically reach his voice mail and the worst part is sometimes he hangs up before you can even say ‘Hi.’
I don’t know if he’s avoiding me or what, but the question is ‘Why?’
As I made my way downstairs with still thoughts of Harry avoiding me, I made my way to the living room and switch some channels on the T.V., I was about to turn it off when I saw those familiar mass of curls on the news.
“The One Direction Pop star Harry Styles was caught having a little romantic smooch with Taylor Swift on a party they both went last night.”
I didn’t let the reporter even finish her gossip, I turn the TV off with anger boiling inside me.
I notice that every time I change the channel his face was all over every news in the TV, to where he went last night, to partying, down to his relationship with Taylor Swift. He was too wrapped up on his relationship that he didn’t even remember other people in his life. I guess I’m just a somebody to him right now. I just notice when he started a relationship with her he was now too far to reach out and talk to. He became different, I’m not saying to just give it up I’m just asking for a little bit of his time to just say ‘Hi, how are you?’
My thoughts of him were gone when Hannah came barging in the room with a really sleepy and annoyed face due to jetlag but her senses came back when she notices me just staring into space.
“Are you okay, Flor?” She asks as she sat beside me on the couch waving her hand in front of my face.
“Yeah, totally fine.” I said as I snap out of it and look at her with the best smile I could pull off.
But the truth is, I am not.
“I’m just going for a walk.” I said before she can even continue what she was about to say. I shut the front door and make my way to any place that’s peaceful.
I went for a drink on a café nearby where the park is; I guess this place could work.
I open the door with a chime alarming a customer just walk in, the aroma of the coffee passing through my nostrils.
I make my way to the table besides the window and a girl approaches me asking for my order.
“Hot chocolate, please.” I said with a smile on my lips.
As I waited for my order, I walk to where a little book shelf was located and went searching for an interesting book but all I see are magazines about Harry Styles dating Taylor Swift and other stuff about their relationship. Ugh
I came to a conclusion that I wouldn’t bother even reading or glancing a bit on those articles and instead I got the book I’ve already read for about a dozen of times: ‘The Fault in Our Stars by John Green’
