Chapter 10
Cookie's pov
I went out the room to get drinks then saw my mother. "What are you doing here?"

"What I can't see my daughter?" She asked.

"I haven't see you for years, what do you fucking want?" I asked.

"Money," She said.

"No I haven't seen you for half of my life and now you want money? Are you high? Why don't you make money by being the prostitute you always were?" I asked. She laughed. "What's so funny?"

"Your a cold hearted mother of you a forgot about your first born." She said. They brought out Andre. He was handcuffed. The cuffs wrapped around his waist like they really held him prisoner. He was beat up and had a knife in his rib cage area. He had blood coming out of his temple and where the knife was. He was knocked out. "Now if you don't tell me where your little boyfriend is your son and everyone in this club is gonna die." One person stood up.

"EVERYONE GET DOWN NOW!!!!" Someone yelled. He shot the ceiling Everyone got down to the floor and Chris came out

He smiled looking at me,"Hey manager."

"Are you fucking kidding me? It was you the whole entire time. Your the kingpin drug dealer your the gang leader." I said.

"Baby come here!!" He yelled.Then Carol came out and kissed him on the lips. My blood boiled. "Why are you doing this? Why?"

"You killed my brother." Chris said. "He was innocent and you had him killed." I shook my head. "Then I met her she is so beautiful." He looked at Carol.

"You serious Carol you would let him beat your nephew and almost kill him?" I asked. They threw Dre at my feet. I knelt down and hugged him.

"Why would you do that to my nephew?" She walked over to me. We held Dre together.

"Carol come with me." He said.

"No." She said. She stood up and hugged him. She put her hand behind him and grabbed his gun. She shot Chris, our mom, and someone else. Luscious came out the back room with everyone else.

"LUSCIOUS LOOK OUT!!!" I yelled. He turned his head toward me and Carol and shot him. He screamed in pain and she stopped shooting.

"NNNOOO!!!" I yelled. Jamal held me in his arms while Hakeem went over to Dre. I was crying in his chest. The ambulance came shortly and I rode in it with Luscious. I held his hand and was leaning on him. I felt him moving under me.

"I'm still here." He said. I sat up and kissed him. He kissed me back. We stopped kissing and he put his hand on my stomach. "How's the baby?" I smiled and gripped his hand tighter.

"She's good." I said. "You gotta beat this Luscious because I can't lose you again."

"Your not gonna lose me baby. I love you Cookie, I promise." Lu said. We got to the hospital and they separated us. I let his hand go slowly and so did he. Jamal got there and I saw Andre being pulled away. I went and sat with Mal, and Keem. Then Carol came. I stood up and punched her in the face. They held me back,"How could you? I trusted you after everything we went to through together I would think you wouldn't side with her."

"They said if I didn't they would kill all of you. They forced me to join them. They had Andre hostage Cookie. They said they wouldn't hurt him. I'm so sorry Cookie." Carol said.

"Right what about Chris?" I asked. She stayed silent. "Of course I knew weren't that innocent you making it seem."

"He said if I stop he would kill me. He made me be one of his wives." She said. "He has a tracker on me. He has 4 of them. Well 3 now. One is legally married to him, that's Sierra. Then the other two are Candy, and Sugar."

"Damn he's a man hoe." Hakeem said.

"And Luscious?" I asked. "That was an accident?"

"Cookie I was trying to shoot someone else. He was in the way. I realized what I did after I shot the gun." Carol said. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean it."

"You took the father of my four children, and my husband. If he dies she's gonna grow up without a father. I can't believe you did this." I said. "I can't right now leave."

"Cookie I'm sorry." She said.

"Leave now I can barely stand the sight of you." I said. She left and we sat there waiting for the doctor to call us. I was sitting there with dried blood on my clothes. I had it all on my hands. Come on Luscious keep fighting. Your a Lyon you can make it. Please make it.

"The Lyon Family?" The doctor said. I stood up along with Jamal and Hakeem. "Well Andre is okay luckily the knife wasn't deep enough to puncture and organs. He is currently in the ICU."

"What about Luscious?" I asked.

"He is in a coma unfortunately. The was very deep. It broke his rib and we replaced it with a metal bar. We don't know how long it will last. It passed one of his lungs by the width of a hair." He said. "He's in the ICU right next to Andre's room. Only one person can see him. He's been unresponsive to everything."

"I'm going." I said. He took me to Luscious's room. I saw his heart beat on the monitor. It was steady. I walked over to him. I held his hand and saw everything we went through together. I saw us meet. I saw making Andre, Luscious proposing to me. I saw me giving birth to Andre then the wedding. I saw us on our wedding night. Then me getting pregnant with Jamal. Our anniversary together, helping him write songs. Dealing for him and sometimes with him. Then Hakeem and the trial. Then us now the week of The White Party, the visits (when she visited him in prison). Hawaii and everything up until now. "Luscious get up please. You have to get up for me." I said.

Luscious's pov
[He's like a ghost no one can see him or hear him. He can't touch anyone.] I saw Cookie crying over me. "Aw baby don't cry. I'm right here." I said.

"Luscious please I need you I can't raise her on my own." Cookie said. I was right next to her. I was looking at her. She had her hand on my face crying. I held her other hand and kissed her on the cheek. It went right through her. Why she see me or hear me? I'm right here. "Please just give me a sign anything move a finger or something." I tried hard moving my finger and it worked. I balled my hand into a fist.

"I love you Cookie." I said. I felt my eyes.

"Luscious?" Cookie said looking up in tears.
