Can we talk?

Kenya's POV:
I was at school getting ready to leave, while my friend group was doing the same.

Suddenly Satoru came up to us and said "Hey guys, let's go to the science fare on Saturday. I'll ask Kayo to go to!" He asked. Isn't he forgetting someone?

"Yeah, that's a great id-NGHHHH!!" Osamu was cut off by Kazu pinching his leg. "I can't make it." I say. "Sorry, but I've already made plans that day." I explained.

"Oh, really?" Satoru asked, disappointed. "Same for me too dude, I uhh.. Got some important things need doin'." Kazu says. Bro forgot to say the word "that" in his sentence, but okay.

"Y-yeah, what he said. I'd like to go but I can't either, sorry." Osamu says. "Yeah me too!" Hiromi said.

We start walking away as Satoru whispers an "Oh."  "it's better if it's just you and Kayo anyways!" Kazu smirks.

A certain someone was still in the classroom waiting for Kayo. Satoru didn't even invite her or acknowledge that she was even there. Now I see what she meant. I do gotta talk to him about that later.

-Time skip to when Kenya is walking to the science fare with his friend group-

Y/N's POV:
Satoru seriously took Kayo from me again! They BOTH ignored me and left me in the class room. I called Kayo's name but it's like I wasn't even there. I gotta split those two up!

I was walking lost in thought when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, stopping me from walking. "Woah there, stop before you bump into me." A familiar voice said.

I looked up to see Kenya and some boys with him. "They left you out again huh?" He asked, I saw the rest of the boys make confused faces. "Yeah..." I mumbled.

"If nobody else does, then I will." Kenya said. What is bro talking about? "Huh?" I said, very confused. "Do you want to come with us to the science fare? Satoru and Kayo are already there. If they don't invite you then I'll just have to do it myself, so what do you say?" He asked.

The other boys seemed to slightly understand what was happening now. "Sure.." I replied softly, taken aback by what he the sudden invite.

And with that, we all walked to the science fare, as The boys with Kenya told me their names and asked me mine. The fact that we're in the same class and we still didn't know each other's names.💀

When we arrived, Satoru seemed a little surprised... And even more surprised that I was there. Heck, even Kayo was a little surprised.

"Hey guys!" Kenya greeted, as Kayo and Satoru turned there heads to look in our direction. "Hi Kayo!" Osamu greeted as well before Kazu gave a greeting of his own. "What's up?"he said while waving.

"I finished the stuff I had to do early!" Kenya explained. "Sorry we got here so late!" Hiromi apologized.

"Hey Satoru!" Kenya called. "Yeah?" He answered. "Can we talk?" He asked. "Oh sure!" Satoru said confusedly. They went somewhere private while me and Kayo greated eachother.

"Hey bitch!" I say, putting my hand on her shoulder as she chuckled and gave me a small wave.

Kenya's POV:
I took Satoru to somewhere private to talk to him.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Satoru asked. "It's about Y/N. Also, I'm the one who invited her." I explained.

"You invited her!? Why?" Satoru asked. He seemed to not want her here.. I could tell by the tone he used. "Why that reaction? You got a problem with her or something!?" I asked. "No, I just wasn't expecting it..." Satoru admitted.

"Listen, you need to stop leaving her out." I tell him. "What do you mean!?" Satoru asked. "Are you and Kayo that oblivious!? You've only been asking Kayo to hang out and not inviting her even though they are best friends! On top of that, Kayo also started ignoring her, leaving her alone. You act like she's not even there most of the time!" I explain.

He looked taken aback and then he looked like he was thinking.

"I didn't realize how i was treating her..." He admitted. "I'll treat her and Kayo equally from now on!" He said. I could tell he meant it because I saw determination in his eyes.

I smiled. "Good." I said before we went back to the others.

Satoru POV:
Have I really been leaving her out and treating her like that!? My goal was to get them to stay together and protect both of them, but I was only tearing Kayo away from her and leaving her out!

From now on that will change! I vow to protect them BOTH and treat them equally!

They will both be getting the same amount of help and RESPECT! I need to apologize to Y/N and regain her friendship first, and then protect her and Kayo. They will not die... 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙄'𝙢 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚.
