If Dex Returned Alone

Part 3: The Apology

Stina's POV:

We finally got her back story figured out. Her name was Melian Heks. When they were taking a hike they found a girl on the side of the road passed out. When she woke up she couldn't remember anything except her name. They adopted her and since they didn't know anything about her, she was going to Exillum. Meli said to try and apologize so yesterday I asked Dame Alina if I could say something during morning announcements so here i'm waiting for her to finish so I can give my speech. Soon it's time. I can hear murmurs of disbelif as she explains that I am gonig to be giving a speech.

Biana's POV:

She's apologizing? Does she actually belive any one is gonna feel bad for her? I bet she's just doing this to stay out of trouble. It's her fault she died after all. 

Fitz's POV:

Who really belives this crap. It's all bullshit. Is someone clapping? Wow whoever they are don't know Stina at all.

Dex's POV:

"THIS IS ALL FAKE!" I yelled at the person who clapped. I wish I knew who they were so I could slap them across the face."SHE DOESN'T DESEVERE BEING APPRECIATED!"

Keefe's POV:

Had Stina really changed. I guess it's possible. I'm up front and could pratically feel the guilt radiating off of her. Maybe she really is sorry. I hear someone clap so I clap along with them and everyone copys me, so I got half the school clapping. Later I tell them that I didn't even clap but right now I did and I felt like she really was sorry. Soon after Stina left a girl followed her out. We hid nearby and listened to their conversation.

Stina's POV:

After I'm done I her one person clapping. It's more then what I expected. I expected to be booed and Blitzenberry muffins thrown. Maybe they decided that I wasn't worth their muffins. I knew my new sister would clap but I didn't expect other people to do it with her. Soon half the audience was clapping and was on stage shocked. I heared Dex yelling but I couldn't make out his words. I went off stage and Melian followed. We went around the corner and she hugged me.

"You did a great job," she praised.

"Me? You're the one who started clapping everything else came after you," I exclaimed.

My old friends are listening around the corner don't turn now just keep talking. Sophie transmitted to me.

I smiled and said "Did you hear what Mr. F said earlier?"(F short for Forkle)

"No what?" she responded.

I looked around and leaned in close" That he ships you and Keefe or Dex," I wispered.

"WHAT EW!" she shouted.

"SHHHH! you're gonna make people come over here. God, you are so loud. I bet they could hear you all the way from Hoover Dam." I said rolling my eyes.

"Hoover Dam?" Sophie questioned with a smile on her face.

"Saw it in a movie once, why?" 

"No reason," She said practically bursting out laughing," I just always wanted a damn t-shirt from there,"

"Huh" 

That was her bursting point. She fell on the floor laughing and transmitting a breif explanation of a scene in a human book. After I realized what had been said I was also laughing on the floor.  "Come on, I got to go to ability detecting. Don't worry about Exillum." I tell her

"How did you know I was nervous?" Meli asked.

"I don't know it's almost like I can feel your emotions." I gasped, "I'm a empath!"

"Mamá y papá estarán muy orgullosos" She said excitedly.

"Mel, your a polygot" I responded shocked.

We jumped up and down for a while before going to my ability detecting mentor to tell her the good news.

Dex's POV:

They were just talking until Stina whispered something. I couldn't hear much but I heared my name. Suddenly the other girl shouted WHAT EW and I was confused. Then they started talking about dams and laughing, which was even more confusing. Eventually they both went to class so we left too.

A/N: Sorry this was a short chapter i really wanted to do a scene of her apologizing and I saw an opportunity to add in a damn referance to Percy Jackson. Anyway don't forget to vote and commet so I know you're still reading! (*^‿^*)
