It's a Dirigible

I stand to the side to rake my hands through my hair as I pace, and then I move my hands away from my hair to bite my fingernail, trying to think up a plan while Evie and Rick are hugging them, physically upset that they lost Alex, "Please do not fear for your son, my friends." Ardeth explains as he comes up to them, which makes me stop pacing to stand next to Jonathan as he joins our little group, "They cannot hurt him, for he wears the bracelet of Anubis." Ardeth explains for it to click in my sister's brain than on the details, "Alex is wearing the bracelet?" Evie asks as she pulls away from her husband as I stand there, "When he put it on, he said he saw the pyramids at Giza, the temple at Karnak." Rick explains as I lick my lips while standing there, trying to think, "And when they reach Karnak, the bracelet will show him the next step of the journey." Ardeth says as I look at him and then back to Evie and Rick. We have a plan to get Alex back, "Well, If we don't get to Karnak before them, we won't have any idea where to look for him next."

Evie points out, which is a vital point, that we would have lost Alex forever, which I would never forgive myself for, "Seems to me... like we need a magic carpet." Rick points out what makes me look at him because it seems he has something on his mind regarding a magic carpet. The next day we went to Cario in Egypt to a small village for me to sit in the back of the yellow car that seemed like it was from the time we were here last. Still, in doing so, we had to split up from Ardeth, who had to do something rather important, which has me smile while sitting in the back remembering how we parted; he took my hand in his ever so gently to plant a kiss on it which makes my heart go a flutter even now. We pull up to Magic Carpet Airways for me to jump out to look around the place that doesn't look that good, "So this is the magic carpet you were talking about?" I question while walking next to my sister, looking around the place that is not what I suspected, "He'll be fine. He's a professional." As someone comes out of the door wearing an eyepatch, Rick tells us the details for me to look at the man who stands there, "Izzy!" Rick calls as the guy named Izzy then backs up in fear to whimper while going back inside the shed, and then he locks the door for me to smile a little on that, "Hey!" Rick calls for me to cross my arms over my chest on the person we are getting a lift from, "He definitely remembers you." Evie says as I nod a little at her valid words, "He's a little shy. Jonathan, get our bags." Rick orders as I smile a little at my brother-in-law, who is still the same as always, "Oh, my hands are full." Jonathan asks me to look over at him with a pointed look at what he is carrying, "Now." I hiss out as I snatch the thing he was holding out of his hands. He looks scared at the look I have on my features, "Right. I'll get the bags." Jonathan answers as I look at him leave us, "I'll help you", I say as I pass the sceptre to Rick to help Jonathan with the bags. 

We then join Izzy and Rick for me to hold two bags as I walk in, "You're not catching me at my best, darling, umm what's your name anyway?" he asks for me to look over at him, smiling softly at the man that I do not like that much, "Oh, I'm sure I am, and my name is Elizabeth." I answer as he chuckles at that, looking thrilled at my name as we walk, "Lizzy for short, I suspect", he answers for me to nod to his words finding him irritating like Jonathan, "yeah, however, did you know" I reply sarcastically which he didn't pick up as smile a little at him. I then heard the whinny of a horse which had me look over there for a genuine smile to spread across my features on seeing Ardeth again, who is my heart fire. He gets off his horse, handing the reins to one of his men as he walks next to my sister, "I knew it. I'm gonna get shot." I heard Izzy say, trying not to laugh at his words as I landed my eyes on Ardeth, who smiled at me, which I matched with him, "These are the commanders of the 12 tribes of the Medjai." Ardeth explains as he looks at us while walking up to us some more for me to keep the blush down in my throat, "Horus." Ardeth then calls for a bird resting on his commander's arms to fly up to land on his arm for me to look at it with a tilt, liking the bird very much, "Ah, Pet bird." As I watch Ardeth interact with his animal, Jonathan comments for me wishing to say hello to the bird, "My best and most clever friend." Ardeth explains while stroking its feathers, seeing the love in his eyes while talking of his bird which makes my heart skip a beat, "He will let the commanders know of our progress so that they may follow." Ardeth explains as Horus looks at the group, and then its eyes land on me as he then tweets to me as Ardeth smiles a little on his bird talking with me; Ardeth then turns to his commanders to speak in Arabic and then to repeat the phrase, as his commanders do the same while reaching for the sky with one hand for me to know that he will always be a leader till the day he dies. The commanders canter away to leave us standing there, "If the Army of Anubis arises..." Ardeth tells us as he turns to look at us with Horus still on his arm, "they will do all they can to stop it." Ardeth points out, which makes me breathe in as I then reach down, grabbing my bag as we begin to walk with Ardeth walking with me as Horus tweets while looking at me as I smile, looking at the bird which moves to the edge of Ardeth's hand to play with a piece of my hair as I walk for me to giggle a little on that as I reach up stroking his feathers as he seems happy on that, "he is quite sweet," I whisper out as I turn my eyes to Ardeth who is smiling at us interacting, "he likes you" Ardeth tells me as I go a little red on his words as we walk together, "well he is quite the gentleman" I answer as Horus tweets at me with love in his eyes, "I like you too, Horus" I mumble out as Ardeth chuckles at our interaction making me blush more on his laughter that sounds so soothing, "Rick, are you sure Izzy's reliable?" Evie asks her husband as we continue to walk with Horus letting go of my hair as I continue to walk with Ardeth, "Yeah, Yeah, he's reliable-ish."
