Evie's death

Evie then stands up as I know we have to go down there to get the others, "let's go", Evie states as I nod at that as I hold my gun in my hand, "Thank God for that." Jonathan answers as we then leave the ruin to run down there to meet up with the others. We reunite with Alex and Rick for Evie to be happy to see her boy, that is safe and sound, "Mom!" he yells as they sprout a hug on each other for me to smile at them, "Alex!" Evie answers as Rick is panting from running through the jungle away from the red-cloaked people who are no more, "Hey, Nice shootin', Tex." Rick says to Jonathan as I look at them, and I am happy Alex is back with us, which makes me know we will be ok now, "What were those creepy pygmy things?" Jonathan asks as I look at him on that for me to wonder on that as well, "Just the local natives." Rick breathes out as I look at him on that as he waves a hand at the mention of them, making me suspect they are something a little more dangerous than natives, "Are you sure?"

Jonathan answers I know I would not be sure right now about all this, "I'm sure. It was nothin." Rick says as I hear the natives in the distance, which has me look that way a little as some of my dark brown hair dusts over my shoulder, "Come on, Mom. Come on, Dad." Alex says as Evie stops hugging him to stand up I look back to my nephew with questions in my eyes, "We have to get to the pyramid. I have to get the bracelet off now!" Alex explains for me to smile at my nephew, missing him so much when I was away from him, "Oh, Leave it on, Alex. Looks good on you." Jonathan comments as I knock his shoulder on that to stop, which makes him look over at me with a what look, "No, you guys, you don't understand. He told me...the bracelet will kill me if I don't get inside the pyramid before the sun hits it...today!" Alex explains for me to sigh here we go again; I really hate death, "Oh, my God." Evie and I say as I find all this fun and all if we don't die from it, which might happen if I don't stop, making me wonder if I could settle down away from all of this. We then heard squeaking and growling behind us, which made me turn my head that way to see the bushes moving, for me to then back up to Alex, "Time to go!" Rick says as I grab Alex's hand to begin running away from the place, not wishing to stick around with the monkey natives, "I thought you said it was nothing!" Jonathan yells as we run away from the place the monkey-like things are chasing us with them intending to kill us, "where is Ardeth?" I yell at Rick as we run, "With his army", Rick answers as I know he wants to return to them; I continue to run, hoping to christ I will not die in here without actally kissing the man I love. 

We continue down a path as we are being chased by monkeys for me to notice that Jonathan is gone from my side, which has me look around while running, "Where's Jonathan?" Evie yells as I don't even know what part we are in as no one answers Evie as the wind blows everywhere. We come to a log bridge for me to run across with Evie and Alex, wondering where the hell the others are and if they are safe, "Wait for me!" I heard Jonathan yell for me to sigh. We are at it again, running away from danger; it seems, this is the life, "Hurry up, Jonathan!" I yell for me to watch as Rick pulls out a stick of dynamite to light it, then as Jonathan crosses the bridge, "Wait for me! What's that for?" Jonathan asks, noticing what our brother-in-law is holding as he makes it to us as. I look at him, relieved he is ok, "Ah, nothin'. Just something in case of an emergency." Rick answers as he throws it for the monkeys for two of them to catch it and then fight over it, making me try and not laugh about what they are doing. One got it for them to run across the bridge with the dynamite that explodes for it to break and then fall to the Nile below, which has me nod that happy that we are rid of them, "ok, you don't see that everyday" I whisper out as I smile at Alex who shares it, missing that smile of his but then it is gone in an instance, "Rick!" Evie then says as we then look at the sun rising over the mountains, which has me go pale on the news, "Let's go, Alex." Rick says to take his son's arm as we begin to run after them for me to not like this; we just got Alex back, I will not lose him again to some curse. Rick runs in front with Alex as we lag behind, but I could care less about that and more about my nephew being safe. We get to the pyramid to see the sun has set, and there are gold statues of dogs laid in front of the pyramid, which has me breathe out with relief that Alex is ok, "They made it. Thank God." Evie breathes out as I sit down out of breath from all this running; after all this, I am so going on a holiday, "Yes. Great. Fabulous." Jonathan answers as I then look up just in time for Anck-Su-namun to stab my sister in the stomach, "Evie," I scream as I then get up quickly to run for my sister for me to notice Jonathan being thrown away. Still, when I was to run at Evie, Imhotep grabbed me by the throat, lifting me up, so my breathing was cut off, which had me cry out in pain as he produced a dagger from his robes for me not to want this, I do not wish to die like this when I have to be with Ardeth first, "I will not die" I hiss out in Egyptian as I then grab his hand to twist around in to get out of his hold which makes him smirk. In contrast, I look at them while sitting in a fighting position. I then grab my dagger from my bag, which has me run at them. Still, Anck-su-namun stabs me in the bottom part of my chest for me to gasp as I step back, pulling the knife out to touch my wound, pulling it up to my face to see the blood, "we will meet again Mutnedjmet" Imhotep tells me before leaving us as I fall to my knees to then look over to Evy who falls to the ground for me to crawl over to Rick who was beside her as I do not wish to watch this as I am bleeding as well, "you're going to be all right. isn't she, dad?" Alex asks as I winch while getting up to go over to my nephew with tears running down my face on my sister not getting up, "She'll be fine. She's going to be all right, just get him...take him...take..." Rick tells Jonathan and me as I hug Alex as I try to hold back a sob on my sister dying in front of my eyes yet again, which has me try to hold in my pain as I stand there, "Mommy's fine." Rick says as I gulp in as I stand there with my nephew and brother, "It's okay." I whisper to Alex while trying to be strong for him, which is proving difficult at the moment as I am in pain myself on all of this, "Where...Evy.." Rick was saying as I gulped in as I stood there looking back over at them, "Your mother's going to be fine. Okay?" Jonathan tells Alex as I stand there with me; not like this; I close my eyes as tears run down my cheeks, "Oh my god! You're real strong. You're gonna make it. You're gonna make it.  You're fine. What do I do? What do I do, Evy? What do I do?" Rick sobs out as I open my eyes to look at Evie, who is on the brink of death while lying there looking at her husband, "Take care of Alex." Evie tells Rick as I shake my head, not wanting this to end like this; Evie, you can't leave us, "no, Sweetheart, no." Rick says as I sit down on my knees at me the same height as Alex and Jonathan now, watching the scene with me having a hand on my wound to keep the blood in, "I love you." Evie breathes out her last breath to then closes her eyes for me to shake my head, not wanting her to die, "no, don't...no. No! Evy! Evy! No! No! Evy!" Rick gets out as Alex then hugs me as Jonathan joins in for me to sob silently into their shoulders as they are crying as well, "Come back, Evy. Come back." Rick repeats as I then open my eyes, breathing out in anger at what Anck-su-namun did to my twin, which she will dread doing.
