I layed there motionless on the guest room bed. What do I do now? It's not like I don't want to meet the prince, but what if he thinks bad about me? That's all I could think about. What does he even look like? I never actually seen him before.
Millions of thoughts were going on in my mind, but all I did was just sit there and wait, and wait, and wait. I lay there, eager to get out of the place, but I had to wait to at least meet the prince. All my thoughts were interrupted when I heard the door opening. My heart was racing and the door was slowly sliding open a slight knock and then footsteps walking into the room I was in.
"May I come in?" I heard a deep voice asking. "Yes?" I said unsure of myself. As I heard the man walking in, all I could think about was who it was.
"Greetings, I'm Prince James the second. I believe you're the girl I saved from the Mediterranean Sea. Nice to meet you, what's your name fair maiden?"
The most beautiful man I've ever seen in the entire universe was standing in front of me. I didn't think I would ever meet someone like him. He had straight light blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. "My name is Vanessa." I said.
"Vanessa? What a beautiful name. He said. So how were you able to save me if you're supposed to stay in the castle at all times?" I asked curiously.
"That's the thing, I hate staying in this castle, I never seen what outside looks like, but once I got out of the castle, I saw you wash away in the waves, and I knew I had to save you. Good timing I guess." He exclaimed.
"Well thanks, Prince James you saved my life." I said. "It's no problem really you shouldn't be thanking me and by the way you may call me James if you'd like." He said. "Are you sure? Someone like me shouldn't be calling you by your name alone if I'm only a peasant." I said. "I'd like it if you called me James." He said.
"Ok James," I gave him a sweet smile. "It was nice meeting you but I shall not stay any longer, I don't want to be a burden." As I was walking out the room, he grabbed my arm softly, I turned around in surprise. "Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"Could you stay here just a bit longer? Or is that too much to ask?" James asked. "I really don't want to be such a bother. And it's awkward for me to be here in such a royal place. It's just too much for me to handle." I said.
"Can you make an acception? I just wanted to get to know you better. I want to take you to the top of the mountain, so we can watch the sunset together." He said slightly red. "You want to take me to the mountain? That would be nice, thanks." I said.
He smiled and looked at the time. "You should go get some rest now. I don't want you to be tired the next morning." He stood up from the bed. "You can sleep here in the guest room, have a nice night." He said leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
What a long day, this royal rich people stuff is really annoying. It's not like I don't like it here, but I just feel like I'm not fit for this kind of stuff. I feel like I need some fresh air, something to get my mind off this place, now I know how the prince feels, trapped in this place.
I had a headache with my mindful of so many thoughts. But I slowly fell asleep deep in my thoughts.
