It wasn't a rejection, but it isn't what Blitz wanted to hear. It still hurt him all the same. 'This is why you should've said nothing.' The voice rang through his head after he had taken off his clothes and wrapped himself up to just cry before Loona got home.

'I mean, you sort of deserved it. You've been rejecting him for years, Blitzo." Blitz turned over and stared at the back of the couch, trying to ignore the voice and put it away.

The unfortunate thing, was the voice was right. This time, it wasn't as intimidating or degrading as the other times. It sounded like it felt sympathy for Blitz, which had never happened. It was always war with himself and his own voice.

For a long time in his life, that voice was the only thing he had. The only comfort could be insulting. The only love could be hard to hear. Blitz just learned to live that way.

He hated for the first time in a long time.. that it was right. He did deserve this. He knew Stolas wouldn't do this on purpose, but it was as if it was a lesson within a good thing. You have to wait for the candy after the doctors appointment. 'Would you wait for him, Blitzo?' Yes. That was the obvious answer. He had to wait for him. No matter how long it took.

About 5 months passed. Blitz was doing okay. Millie and Moxxie supported him through his tougher times. Stolas would sometimes weave into Blitz's brain, but at the end of the day he would escape his mind and he could be at peace again.

"You must be patient, Blitzy. That's how this works." Blitz snarled at Stolas, rolling his eyes at the bird. "Fuck you and your patience." Blitz mumbled. Stolas giggled and a small flame lit on his fingertip. He touched the candle wick, making it light up in a very pretty way.

They were already done for the night, and Stolas asked if they could just play around with the candles for fun. Blitz wasn't really that tired anyways, so he decided why not. It was actually really fun. Stolas observed Blitz's swaying tail as he observed the wax drip from the candle.

He liked when Blitz was curious and funny like that. It was a side of him he wanted to see more of. "What exactly do you want to make?" Stolas asked, picking the candle up. Blitz looked up at Stolas's giddy face and smiled back at him. "Uhhh.. a horse." He said, with a bright wide smile that made Stolas want to shrink up and ask him to marry him.

"Alright. If that's what you want." Stolas smiled. He gave the candle over to Blitz, along with a few things to hold the wax sculpture together. Then Stolas looked through his room for another candle for himself. Stolas lit it, and gave Blitz his phone.

"What do you want me to do with this?" He asked. Stolas smiled brightly. "Take my picture silly!" Blitz felt a heat right in his stomach. He hid his face and cleared his throat. "Kay.." Blitz held the phone up at Stolas and took a really good looking picture. Blitz handed the phone back to him. "You look eh- you look fine." Blitz lied. He thought Stolas looked gorgeous. But like Stolas said, patience. These feelings will go away, right?

Blitz sighed at the old memory. He was so wrong.. feelings never seem to go away for someone. If his father were here, he would say "That's why love is horrible." Millie walked into his office. "Blitz? How ya doin'?" She asked as she propped herself up on the doorframe. "Oh yeah. I'm fine. What do you need, Mills?" Millie smiled at Blitz, which warmed his spirit a little. "Well, me and Moxx wanted to know if you wanted to go shoppin'? You've been kinda.. out of it the past months."

Wow. They were asking Blitz to come along? Usually they'd be begging him to stay home. He'd really let himself go. "Uhhh... sure. Why not?" Millie beamed and sat up straight. "Ooo, good! I'll go tell Moxxie." Millie exclaimed.
