Three hours away

there is a town

filled with stunning creatures

If you go

they'll tell you

about a girl

A lonely girl

talking to dragonflies

frightening the birds

and rolling in grass

She went on walks

Looked for otters

and fed a fish army

Eagles would soar

poring a single drop

of mesmerization

into her soul

Yet no matter

how much comfort

the day brought

she would cry rivers

every night

For in truth she had no one

Only a pretty house

 in an empty field

The dragonfly's would leave

The birds would fly

And she'd be stuck in on the ground

With nothing to do

Now she visits

the eagles are gone

they went with the tree's

killed by a man

She misses her home

in more ways than one

but was it really a home?

Or a lonely house?

((This one is very special to me, had to change the original title for personal reasons but I think it still suits it))
