All went well the first year

Finally the next summer
Everything fell apart.

It was as if a switch had been flipped.
One day I recieved an email
You told me I was a bitch
You said I was never your friend
You talked bad about her too
I told her, but she didn't care
She said, everyone makes mistakes
I wondered, does everyone hate their best friend?
Now I really miss you
I wish we could be friends
I wish I could stop hating you
You broke me till the end.
I see you everyday
We talk but it's not the same
We laughed, we giggled, we cried
I miss you, my former friend
I finally deleted those emails
Tons sent back and forth
I finally forgave myself
It was not my fault, but was it yours?

So... yeah. This is my true story. :'( I was really hurt and when I was told I had to write a poem to a former friend this flowed onto the paper. This is all true. Sometimes I wonder if it only happened to me...
