Fighting for what's right

As soon as serafina slowly lands on the ground from flying she walks to her old guest room silently waiting for her mate.she hears a whooshed sound looking up to see Armand leaning against the door."well I'm wait for you to explain why you abandoned me" she says sitting up straight.

Arman sigh's as he walks in to the room"my love I didn't mean to make you feel abandoned or to hurt you me and the other ancients thought it was a good idea to sleep in hiding until it was time to come out I was going to return to you as soon as I woke up.i promise you if I can go back in time and changed what happened that day I would"he explained to his mate in a pleading voice as he sits down right be side her.

She looks deep into his eyes to see if he is telling the truth and he was making her look away feeling he won't love the monster she became.he gently touches her cheek making him look at him as he looks at is mate with soft eyes"no mater what you have done you are not a monster.you are the same girl I love."he tells her softly.

They both just stair at each other for a silent moment before they start to lean in slowly before the lips touch in a soft kiss.it was like something snapped back in place with inside of her she can feel the connection to her humanity rebuild itself after so long as well as there mate connection.

She gently placed a hand on the side of his neck kissing her love pulling him closer as he does to pulling her against him by the waist before laying her gently on her back on the bed as everything fades for the night knowing what's about to happen.

The next day after waking up beside her beloved she kisses him awake making home smile into the kiss before looking up at his beautiful mate"come on my beloved the others will be waiting"he softy says before the both of them get up and dressed.

Soon they all can can be seen following maharet to a wall of a family tree full of stones with names on them."since my mortal death,I have watched...I have guided and cared for my human family... generations beyond memory"she explains as they all come to a stop in front all understanding the importance of why she needs there help."this is why we must fight aksha for the sake of your great family"Marius says what everyone was thinking making the two mates hold hands as the look at each other worried for one another that one of them might not survive.

"The world we know is about to come to an end.the only way to prevent this is through Akasha's destruction."maharet explains to the other ancients around her as the look at the family tree of stone tablets.

"But how"Pandora explains on how they were gonna be able to pull this off.

"When she opens herself to give blood she's vulnerable."she explains akasha's main weakness which will help them in there fight against her.

"Whoever takes the last of her blood will not survive it"the ancient white robes explains to the others making them slightly worried before Jesse walks forward slightly."what about lestat"she ask worried about him causing maharet to look at her with soft eyes.

"Dearest lestat has joined with Akasha.hes lost to us now.forgwt him"she tells Jesse gently with a sympathy look.

They all look back at the wall knowing this battle has everything at stake as they wait for lestat and aksha to arrive.

Soon the main door a are forced open making them hit against the wall as fog is seen with shadow appareing showing it was aksha with lestat behind her"my children"she says with her arms opened before she slowly lowers them as she walks forward with her hands clapped closed together as she walks forward"it warms my blood to see you all gathered...ploting against me"she to her children in front of her created by her blood that runs through them has she comes to complete stop.maharet steps slightly forward"aksha"only for her to be cut off by the queen her self.

"Maharet.you will address my king first"she says firmly before pointing to lestat palm faced up as he walks forward from the shadows

"Lestat,what has she done to you"Jesse says worried for him going to step forward be she is stopped by the men beside her in grey clothes as he places a hand on her shoulder.

Making lestat and aksha to turn towards her before Marius steps forward"lestat step aside"he orders his child that he created from the moment he turned him.but lestat just looks indifferent "never"he says not moving from his queen ounce.

"The world has changed since you rained"maharet says to her creator from her side where all the ancients stand beside her as one walking forward in front of the group.

"Akasha pleas...."he pleads desperately trying to avoid a fight looking at his creation her pleading eyes.only making her angrier.

"You think you can change my will?ive had enough of this discussion.join me or die"looking at her children angry making them look at one another before turning back to her looking determined as ever 

"I will not"each of them says standing as one against her making her look at them and anger that they didn't join her before she thinks and gets the evil look at her eyes.
