My POV
"Darlin', don't answer it." Striker mumbled, my eyes slowly opening to the sound of my phone ringing.
"Could be a job." I mumbled, and Striker chuckled, kissing my neck.
"Come on Darlin'. You really want to take a job right after this weekend?" Striker asked, and I sighed.
We had finally saved up enough money for an acre and build a home for us. With the condition I'm still employed by I.M.P and promised to figure out how to move between Wrath and Pride easily for work, Blitz had extended my week vacation to two with pay, to get moved in an settled.
"I suppose..." I mumbled, hitting ignore before Striker chuckled.
"Atta girl."

"Hey Mills, sorry I missed your phone call the other day." I laid on the bed working on chores with the phone on speaker.
"Busy moving in? Or did Striker keep you in bed all week."
"Both." I said, my face red with blush, looking at a few boxes still left to be unpacked.
"When are we going to meet him anyways?"
"I figured maybe if we meet up in Pride, we could stop by I.M.P and everyone meet him. I even might tell him I love him then, too." I said, hearing Millie 'Awe'.
"That's so romantic! Oh I can't wait! I know you said he's a bit of a tough shell, but if he makes you happy, I already love him!"
I chuckled, smiling at Millie's comment before asking about how the latest job went. Needless to say, I was happy I skipped out on it. I'd rather die than deal with fucking Cherubs.
