(A/n: Well well well.... A surprise Striker cameo in 'OOPS'? How could I resist...)
Strikers POV
"Did you ever really love me!?" Her face broke my heart and I only could be silenced as I grabbed my hat, keeping the tears at bay as she and Mildred worked together to get her unstuck.
Our promise ran through my mind over and over as she hissed and stood up, limping towards me with a gun aimed at me. Tears were clearly blurring her vision, her hand shaking as she tried her best to hate me. Darlin'... Despite my best judgement I walked towards her only for Moxxie to kick me down and swing me towards my falling statue I had made as a cocky joke.

II struggled with what to do for days afterwards. Part of me wanted to just forget her, forget everything we had. Then there was the other part of me fighting that, the part of me that was turning good cause of her.
One night I couldn't help myself as I stood in her hospital room after easily getting through.
"Did you ever really love me!?"
"Of course I di-" I paused a frown on my face as I wrapped my bandana around her wrist and placed some of her favorite flowers on the nightstand. "Of course I do Darlin'. Never doubt that for a minute. I'd be so lost without you." I sighed and pulled up a chair gently grabbing her hand, talking quietly to her. "I'd lose myself..."
Part of me knew somewhere close the blueblood was nearby, but the mission wasn't as important as her. I sighed heavily when she started to toss and turn, a sign I knew she'd wake up soon, kissing her once more before leaving.
An hour later I felt my phone buzz. I looked down to see a message from my Darlin' and I opened it.
"Thank you."
Despite my better judgement, my heart took over as I started typing out an apology and a very vague 'what happens to us now', but I scoffed seeing how pitiful it was and deleted it, leaving her without a single word as I put my phone away.
I kept a tab always on my Darlin', knowing she was searching high and low for me so I left Wrath for the time being, seeing if there was any work in the other rings.

My POV
The source led me to another tip, which led me to another tip, and after what seemed like a waste of time finally landed me in the Greed ring. Sniffing around and bribing a shit ton, I slammed the gas pedal to a warehouse.
I knew I was in the right place when the warehouse I was walking up to collapsed and saw two figures running my way.
"Blitz!?"
"Oh hey!" Blitz grinned with a wave and I looked at Fizzarolli surprised before Blitz practically read my mind. "Yeah your man's here!"
"Who the fuck-" Fizz asked before a rattle noise and a lasso yanked him away and Blitz and I grabbed our guns seeing Striker walking out laughing. Whatever happened between our last encounter seemed to really fuck him up and I took a deep breath aiming at Striker.
"You think I'm just gon' let you get away after all this Blitz? I'm through losin' these fights!" Striker snapped, aiming the gun at Fizzarolli, "I'm sick and tired of losing everything because of-" He stopped, his eyes widening when he saw me.
Without a second thought to anyone's safety, Blitz shot a gasoline can behind the two of them, sending the four of our flying while green flames started to surround us. In a panic I stood up and looked around for a way out when I saw Blitz rescuing Fizzarolli before they both started at me in horror. They weren't going to rescue me in time, we all knew it.
I stared at the circle of fire closing in on me and smiled wide, a few tears falling. I looked around seeing Striker rolling to dampen the flames before he saw an escape route and started to run away.
"Striker! Save her!" Blitz yelled. I turned my attention back to Striker who realized I was facing death and he shook his head. At first I thought he wasn't going to save me, us both keeping the promise but a single tear fell down as he ran towards me, swinging his lasso.
"Darlin'!" I grabbed the lasso in the air and held on tight closing my eyes as he whipped me back towards him through the fire just as the area I was standing was engulfed in flames.
"S-Striker-" I coughed as he quickly patted the fire off me and leaned his head against mine, both our hearts beating fast.
"I-I can't lose you." Striker whispered, showing his vulnerability finally. "I can't live in a world without ya Darlin', and trust me I've been trying." He laughed and helped me up before looking at his escape.
"Striker-"
"I still do Darlin'." Striker said, before not a trace of him was left.
"Did you ever really love me!?"
He still did. He still did love me.
