The Architect (HAITUS)

Mei's pov

I woke up to my phone alarm making me groan. I grabbed my phone lazily and turned the annoying thing off. I looked at the time and saw it was 5 in the morning.

Ugh, it's still early. I buried my head into the pillows before finally getting out of bed. Yes, I'm not a morning person at all. I tied up my bed and went to my suitcases that were still full of clothes, let's say that I haven't really emptied them since two days ago... I moved into this new apartment two days ago. I was first at my parent's house, but I hated the long car drives especially since it was early and everyone has to go to work or school so it will be really busy on the roads. And if I used the busses or trains it will be the same but then waking up a lot earlier than before so that's why I moved into this apartment.

The meeting will start around 8:30 so I have around three hours to get ready.

I grabbed the clothes I wanted to wear today. Heading towards the bathroom and almost falling because of the boxes around the house I was there. I did unbox everything for the bathroom and shower. So I'm not that lazy see? 

I started the water and took a fast shower.

Once I was done, I dressed up. It was kinda a basic look but it did look clean. I curled my hair a little, not too much, and put on my natural makeup look.

Once I was done with everything,  it was already 7 in the morning. I grabbed my bag and my other laptop bag since I might need the laptop and all my sketches before grabbing my keys and walked out of the door. On my way to the elevator, I saw a girl with brunette hair. She was tall and beautiful, and I have a feeling I saw her somewhere. She smiled at me and walked into the same elevator.

"Goodmorning there, my name is Harumin, nice to meet you" She said smiling at me while exchanging her hand. 

I smiled at her and did the same while shaking her hand. "I'm Mei" She had a small smirk on her lips before it disappeared away. 

"You must be the new neighbor, I and my roommate live inside the apartment that is in front of yours, so that's nice" I nodded while hearing the ping of the elevator and the door opened. "I'll talk to you later? I gotta go, bye!" and with that, she disappeared. She looked nice, good that the first person I met from the apartment is a nice person. She only seems familiar but it can be just someone I saw once in my life.

I didn't think much about Harumin and got inside my car, it was 7:15 so I started the car and went to a cafe, I bought coffee, a donut, and a sandwich so I could eat and drink them on my way to the meeting. The meeting will be held at our company so I didn't have to go to any unfamiliar road or building. 

Once I was there, I headed to clock in and went to the meeting room I was told to be in.

I opened the door and saw my boss and a woman making out making my cheeks red. "I-I I'll be waiting outside"

She chuckled and looked at me with flushed cheeks, "Don't worry dear,  we are finished anyway. Come sit and prepare your stuff, it's good that you came" She smile and the woman next to her wasn't upset, she just smiled at me before giving my boss a peck and whispered something to her, and walked out. I could see how my boss was staring at the girl's ass that I know was being swayed more than normal.

Once the girl left, my boss looked my way. "That was my wife, she gave me a ride" She explained.

I looked at her and smiled, "Don't worry boss, you don't owe me an explanation" She smiled at me and I prebared my laptop to type in the information so I won't forget anything. 

"Did you by any chance bring your sketches? We might need them to show them your work." 

I nodded and handed them the papers. She smiled at me and gave them back. A couple of minutes passed by and the meeting will start in about 15 minutes. Once everyone came, we had to wait for two people. 

The doot opened and Harumin? walked inside with a smile towards me and a nod to my boss. What is she doing here? She didn't look surprised to see me which was weird. The meeting will start over one minute and we were waiting for the second important person for this meeting and they didn't come. So they started the meeting.

I was getting nervous, what if I wasn't good enough for them? What if they dislike my style and-

"Oh my god, I'm so so so sorry for being late" I voice cut the meeting silent as they breathed heavily. The voice was familiar making me look at the open door. There stood, no other than the woman from yesterday. I didn't know what was happening but Harumin was smirking at her while looking my way making the blonde girl look my way.

The girl gave her confused look before looking my way and I could feel her breath itch.  What is she doing here? Who is she? My cheeks were burning.
