The ballroom was full of elegant music and people. Like normal The Irene crest was plastered everywhere. The designs in the floors, The ginormous pillers, The lights attached to the wall, The wall paper, Even The windows that showed the mountains being illuminated by the red sunset.
And Ofcourse the famous chandelier. Completely made of crystals in the shape of the Irene crest.
The ceiling was also a famous piece of artwork. It showed the tale of Irene in beautiful handcrafted paintings all along the ceiling. Referencing the other 5 gods aswel.
Everyone at the ball was of royalty or lords on their mainland. Some were from over seas even. There were even witches, werewolfs, and meif'wa royalty. The ladies wore long elegant dresses of various colors. The men wore their kingly robes and garnets. Each outfit reflected a unique culture. Vlad gleed at it as he loved readling books about all of them. So he was able to compliment everyone accordingly. But No one dared bring their crowns or head pieces simular to one as they heard of how hostile and insane King Garte was.
Vlad walked around the crowd repeatedly looking for Garroth for the past hour. Yet he still hadn't seen him at all. His Emerald green suit was always easy to spot to Garroth so Vlad didn't know why he hadn't seen him yet. He spotted his mother and walked over to her.
"Mother? Have you seen Garroth at all?" He asked when he got close enough and he got her attention.
"No i haven't but I'm sure he's around." The queen stated.
"Would it be impolite of me to go check his room?" Vlad asked.
"Not at all. But be quick. I'll notify your father when all of you are here for him to hear his speach."
"Yes mother." Vlad kissed his mothers forhead and quickly slipped away from the crowd.
He walked down the halls all the way to the royal wing and up the stairs. He aproached their hallway and spotted Garroth outside Zanes door.
"Come on Zane! You'll be fine! I promise!" Garroth yelled.
"What's going on?" Vald asked.
"Uh... just a little wardrobe malfunction. We'll be there soon brother." Garroth said nervously.
"Nah I'll stay. Come on out Zane!" Vlad called with a grin.
Zane opened the door in a huff. He wore his black suit with white and gold lining. But with Garroths mask over his mouth.
"Why are you wearing Garroths mask?" Vlad asked.
"Uh-! Zane liked it a lot! So he asked if he could keep it and i said yes. He's experimenting in his style right now. Bought time am i right?" Garroth joked.
Vlad chuckled. "Yeah. Ready you two?"
Zane glanced at Garroth and shook his head but Garroth ignored him and linked his arm with his.
"Yup!! Lets go!!" Garroth said linking his other arm with Vlads.
Garroth and vlad laughed as they walked while Zane felt his stomach turn painfully. He felt like he was going to throw up dispite not eating anything as of yet. He grew noticeably pale but it went unnoticed.
What a shit show.
Zane tryed desperately threw out the night to exit the ballroom but everywhere he turned he was cornered and forced to dance with many ladys.
It was Garroths fault about it too. He shoved him into the center of the dancing people and wasn't able to leave sence. Zane still didn't feel well at all and the circling didn't help at all. Neither did the ladies constant questions.
