Siwoo's Pov :
I woke up, sound of the alarm ringing in my ears.
I hugged tightly the soft pillow beside me and snuggled my face deeper into the pillow."Get up, it's time for school!",
Dad spoke from the other corner of the room, urging me to rise from the superficial slumber I was in."Good morning dad.", I mumbled rubbing my eyes.
"Morning son."
I slowly got up from the bed and walked passed him, to the washroom.

I stood, my dad was buttoning my school uniform like he always did whenever he was at home.
And that was rare.
I really liked it when dad was around but he couldn't always.
So whenever he did, I always tried to enjoy the moment without any other thoughts in mind...
But today, it was different.
I could not keep my mind from thinking about yesterday.
It was so fun.
Especially, the evening was grand.
But that wasn't the only thing I was thinking.
I was still thinking about the new friend I made yesterday, Yoonie. Hwang Yoonie.
She was so sweet, friendly and generous. She even let me play with her favourite toy.
I hardly had any true friends, most of them – classmates, who were unnaturally good in behaviour. I could understand the awkwardness.
Basically, they did so because my father was a close friend of the owner of the school.
I came to know this when I overheard some of them discussing this and also back-biting about me.I was not bothered to correct them. They never came to know that I know.
I was not interested in making friends anymore after that.
But, Yoonie was so different. She never seemed fake... So genuine.
I really wanted to meet her again.
"Son, let's go downstairs. You need to have breakfast before it gets late"
I heard my father's voice that pulled me out of my thoughts.
I just nodded.

At school~
"The answer is 25 ma'am."
"Very good Siwoo, you can sit down."
I felt myself at ease that I got the answer right.
As it was a quiz so after getting a answer right, I was not allowed to answer any other question nor the teacher would ask any to me.
I basically had to pass my time till the class ends. I took out the textbook and started flipping its pages.
I stopped abruptly as I encountered a sketch I had drawn a while ago on one of the pages.
Yes, it was Yoonie's. It was far from accurate yet closely resembled her.
I was amazed by how I got a clear image of her in my head everytime I looked at it.
I had to shake my head to get rid of my thoughts
as I was sure I looked lost.
