"Hey, Marinette!" I say happily.

Her jaw drops and she looks around. "I'm dreaming.... right?" She asks.
I giggle a bit. "No, you're not silly!"

Alya starts to climb up the ladder.
"Come on Marinette we have to get to school," she says, then quickly climbs down. I smile and jump down.

Marinette begins to climb down, I place my hand out for her as she gets to the last few steps.

She takes my hand as the blush on her cheeks spread over her face. She looks directly over at the pictures of me and Adrian spread across her work area. I pretend as if I didn't see it and look over cluelessly.

Suddenly, my eyes were covered. It was Marinette's hands, they were so soft and warm. I felt Marinette remove one of her hands and cover both of my eyes with the other one. I could hear her whispering to Alya, then her hands were removed and Alya's hands were on my eyes now.

I sighed as I heard Alya giggle a bit and Marinette made some flustered noises. I could hear a bunch of paper rustling in front of me where all of the pictures were. I smirked knowing that Marinette was trying to hide them.

"Alya, please move your hands. I'll put my hands over my eyes!" I said.

"No Y/n, Mari is doing something first," She replied.

I sighed hopelessly. I heard some whispering again and then heard Alya laugh. Alya then removed both of her hands.

I grinned. "Finally! I can see once more," I said dramatically.

"Go sit down and wait for your macaroons," Alya pointed downstairs. I sighed and climbed down the ladder and waited in the living room. Soon enough Mr. Dupain-Cheng came upstairs with the macaroons.

I took out some money to give him. "Here Mr. Dupain-Cheng!" I said handing him the money. He pushed my hand away, "It's on the house! Also, your name is Y/n, right?" He asked me. I nodded my head and put out my hand without the money, "Yeah, nice to meet you, sir!"

He smiled and shook my hand. "Please, call me Tom," He said with an even bigger grin. I smiled back as he handed me the macaroons.

"Thank you si- Tom," I said happily. "No problem Y/n. Also if you don't mind me asking, where are the girls?" He asked.

"I believe they're in Marinette's room as we speak," I say and eat a macaroon. Tom climbed up the ladder and knocked, "Marinette, what are you doing?"

"Nothing dad! Me and Alya are just talking right now!" Marinette replied.

"Oh well then let poor Y/n in there!" He said.

I smiled awkwardly as Marinette opened the hatch and climbed down super fast after her dad did. She hugged me really tight, "I'm so sorry I didn't call you back up!"

I smiled as some blush crept its way onto my face. "Oh, Uhm, it's fine!" I said quickly. Tom walked out of the room as Alya made hearts towards us. Thankfully I was the only one to see it.

"We gotta get to school now!" I said while I heard my heart racing. Marinette finally let go of me and went up the ladder to grab her bag. I smiled at Alya and she smiled back.

I put the macaroons in my bag, this way I'd have something to eat. Marinette came down the ladder and we all walked over to the school, which wasn't that far since Mari lived close.

Thankfully, we were there early. I went and sat on the stairs while Alya and Marinette stood up. They were having a conversation while I was zoning out. Suddenly, someone was in front of me.

I looked up and it was Adrian. I smiled and jumped up to hug him. I wrapped my arms around him and he did the same. "Heyy ba- bestieee!" I said, covering up my mistake.

"Can't believe you left without saying goodbye," He smirked. I saw Marinette's head perk up, she was listening in now. "Haha yeah, I'm sorry!" I said with a smile and pulled away from the hug.

"All you left me was a note! How could you..," He said dramatically. I giggled a bit.

"I'm soooo sorry," I said even more dramatically.

"But I had to go! What would your father think of a girl sleeping on his son's couch WITH HIS son?" I asked him, a little bit seriously. Adrian's eyes widened.

"True," He said with a smile. I saw Marinette look a bit weird. She definitely was eavesdropping. Alya also looked at me, as if she was trying not to burst out laughing.

I looked at Adrian and then slightly pointed to Marinette, basically asking if I could give her some sort of affection.

He nodded and I smiled.

I then went behind Marinette and hugged her. "You're so cute Mari!" I said happily. I looked at Alya's glasses, well I looked at the reflection on them, Marinette was blushing a LOT. I smirked and spoke again. "We should hang out tomorrow. Let's get some food, yeah?" I asked.

Marinette nodded and gave me a quiet yes. I smirked and let go of her. "Great, it's a date!" I said with a grin. She turned around as her eyes lit up, realizing what I said. Her cheeks turned a deep shade of pink.

"A... a date..?" She asked. I smiled and nodded.

A smile crept onto her face as she repeated my words. "Yeah.. it's a date! I'll see you tomorrow at... what time?" She asked, in a bubbly tone. I smiled, "how about a bit after school?"

"Sure!" She said quickly, then started to giggle. I looked at Adrian. He smiled warmly at me. I walked over to him and whispered in his ear, "is it okay if I go on a date with Marinette, my love?"

"Of course! Maybe if she's okay with it we can all be together soon," He whispered back. I smiled as blush flushed onto my face. The bell rang, time to go to class.
