I moved around in my bed, unable to sleep. I sighed and looked around at the empty space that is my room. I haven't put any of my stuff up yet. I got up and turned my lamp on. "Percy still isn't back," I said to myself.
I sat down on the floor and opened up some of my luggage. I saw some pictures of me and Alya when we were younger. I smiled while I held the pictures. I placed them on my nightstand and got up off the floor. I looked around the room, finally taking in all of my surroundings.
I saw a closet to the right of my bed. The ceiling looked like the night sky with glow-in-the-dark stars. The walls were a (F/c) color. I looked to the left of the room, there was a window leading to a balcony outside. Behind me was a computer, a tv, and an Xbox. I had a whole gaming room behind me. There were (f/c) headphones with a mic as well.
I heard a knock at the balcony window. I looked behind me and saw a familiar figure. It was Ladybug! I walked to the balcony window and opened it, letting Ladybug inside. "Why did you leave your miraculous in my- ma- Marinette's bag?" She asked. My eyes widened. I felt my heart beating faster, surely she could hear it. It feels like it's going to burst out of my chest. "I- uhm.." I stuttered, not knowing what to say. She narrowed her eyes at me. I placed my hands to my side, trying to make it seem as if I'm not nervous. I scratched my leg a bit and clenched my other hand a little. She raised an eyebrow. I sighed and looked at her eyes. "I- I know who you are. I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to find out. However Alya did not tell me! I know that she knows who you are because of the things she's said around you," I said quickly, trying not to get Alya in trouble. "Hell, she doesn't even know I know! B- But about the Miraculous, I feel as if I won't be a good owner." I sighed.
Ladybug's eyes widened. "So you really know who I am..?" She asked. I nodded. "W-wait, but you were akumatized! Did you tell Hawkmoth?" She exclaimed. "I- Wait, you don't remember, huh? Sorry, I forget that sometimes," She said. I nodded awkwardly. "Wait, do you remember what happened..?" She asked. My eyes widened a bit and I scratched my thigh, trying not to be obvious. "No, I only know of what I saw on the news and what Cat Noir told me what happened," I lied. She nodded quietly and quickly. She suddenly said 'spots off'.
My eyes widened. "I didn't expect you to do that-" I said quickly. Marinette giggled a bit. She quickly hugged me. "I'm glad you're the one who knows," she smiled and kissed my cheek. "Also, I know that you know who Cat Noir is." I said to her. Her eyes widened. "W-What do you mean?" She asked. I crossed my arms as she let me go. "You know what I mean. I saw your shadow outside of the closet. I'm not mad but you should tell Cat Noir," I said with a frown. She was shocked for a bit but then nodded. "I'll- is it okay if I invite him here to tell him?" Marinette asked. "Of course," I smiled and nodded. She smiled and hugged me again. I hugged her back and kissed her head. "Do you wanna stay here for the night?" I asked. "Sure! I'll just tell my parents since I told them that I was going out," she smiled. I nodded as she started to call her parents.

She hung up the phone and smiled at me. "They said yes!" She squealed. I smiled. "Wait, is the person your living with ok with it?" She asked. "She's my cousin. She's fine with me doing anything," I laughed. "Oh!" Marinette exclaimed. "Yeah," I giggled. I walk to my bed and sit down. "Sooo, what do we do now?" I ask. Marinette sat down beside me. "I'm not sure," she said. I took out my phone. "Oh, Cat Noir is on his way!" I exclaim. "Wha-? How do you know?" she asks. "We share each others location," I said. "Oh," she says. I smile. "Oh, he's about to be at the window. You better transform!" I said quickly. She nods with a smile and says "spots on!" I stare in awe as I see her transform. She sees me staring at me and shyly looks away. I blush and look away as well. It was quiet for a moment but only a moment! I hear a knock at the window. I look over quickly. Cat Noir waits there with a smile. I walk over to him and hug him. "Didn't Ladybug invite me here?" He asks hugging me. "Yeah, but I'm here too!" I say and lean towards him. I feel him smile as I kiss him. He kisses back. We part lips as Ladybug Ahemed. "Sorry!" I say backing away from Cat Noir. I go over to her and kiss her lips as well. "Break a leg, babe." I say to her after parting our lips. I walk away and leave them to converse.
I lay on my bed and screech a bit as I stretch.
Oh thank god no one heard me! I think to myself.
I look at my gaming set with a smile. I run over to it and turn it on. I place my headset on my head as I open my favorite game. Time to play some Red Dead Redemption 2. My eyes adjust to the light from my computer as my game loads. I log into the game quickly and start to play. I make my way and complete quests, making money and getting bounties on myself. I continue to try to get to the end. I get onto my horse and try to escape from the cops. "Ack! No!! Come on Dusty!" I say to my horse as I continue to escape. I soon made it out of danger and heard giggling behind me. "You're pretty good at this game," I hear Cat Noir purr. "I know and thank you, kitty!" I smile. "I'm going to get out of this suit already," Ladybug says. "Okay, lovebug!" I smile at her. She smiles back and says "spots off" revealing that she is Marinette. Cat Noir's jaw drops. "M-Marinette!?" He exclaims. I hold in my laugh. "Hey Adrien," she giggles. Cat Noir smiles awkwardly and detransforms. I laugh at their awkward reactions. They look at me with a frown. "What'd I do?" I ask. They both giggle a bit and sit down on the floor. I smirk. "That's right get on your knees for me!" I laugh and cross my legs. They both burst out laugh and I do the same seconds later. "You're so funny, Y/n." Marinette says while dying of laughter. Adrien nods while doing the same. "I know!~" I say with a smile.
After our laughter dies down, a comfortable silence fills the room. I keep playing for a while, my focus now back on my game, but I can feel Marinette and Adrien's presence in the room. It's strangely comforting, having them both here like this. A feeling of peace settles over me, though I know there's something big hanging in the air—something they'll need to talk about.I glance over at them; Marinette is nervously playing with her fingers, and Adrien is looking out the window, deep in thought. I smile softly, knowing what's probably on their minds. They're both superheroes, carrying so much weight on their shoulders, but here, for now, they're just Marinette and Adrien, my friends.
I put my game on pause and turn to them. "So," I start, breaking the silence, "are you two going to talk, or are we just going to sit in this awkward tension all night?"Marinette blushes and stammers, "I-I mean, we should probably... talk, right?"Adrien looks over at her, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, I think it's time we had this conversation, Ladybug."
Her breath catches at hearing her superhero name, but she nods. "Adrien... I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I didn't know how to handle it. You've always been my partner, and keeping this from you... it wasn't fair."
Adrien shakes his head gently. "I get it. I really do. I was hiding my identity too. I guess we both thought we were protecting each other."
Marinette looks relieved but still unsure. "You're not mad?"
He reaches out, taking her hand. "I could never be mad at you, Marinette. I just wish we hadn't waited so long. But now, it's all out in the open."
I watch them from the sidelines, their connection undeniable. As sweet as it is to witness, I can't help but feel a twinge in my chest. These two have been through so much together, and I know they have a bond that runs deep. But here I am, caught in the middle of it all, and I'm not sure where I fit.
Marinette looks over at me, as if sensing my thoughts. "You're a part of this too, you know," she says softly.
Adrien nods, his green eyes bright with sincerity. "Yeah, you mean a lot to us, Y/N. We wouldn't want to be here without you."
I blush a little at their words, feeling the warmth of their affection. "Well," I say with a smirk, trying to lighten the mood, "you two might be the superhero power couple, but don't forget, I'm the one who's always going to beat you both at Red Dead."
They both laugh, the tension in the room finally breaking. It feels good to be in this moment with them, no more secrets, no more hiding.
Suddenly, Marinette gets up from the floor and stretches. "We should get some sleep. It's getting late."
Adrien stands as well, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Uh, yeah... where should I sleep?"
I grin mischievously. "Well, there's always the floor," I joke, but then I soften. "You can crash in the gaming room. There's a couch in there that's pretty comfy."
Adrien smiles, grateful. "Thanks, Y/N. You're the best."
Marinette walks over to me, giving me a soft kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight, Y/N."
Adrien follows suit, giving me a playful kiss on the other cheek. "Sweet dreams, Y/N."
I smile, my heart swelling as they both leave the room, heading off to their own places to sleep. I lay back down on my bed, pulling the covers up to my chin. This night turned out way better than I expected. Ladybug and Cat Noir—or rather, Marinette and Adrien—trust me with their biggest secret. And not only that, but I feel like I'm truly a part of their world now.As I drift off to sleep, I can't help but wonder what tomorrow will bring. More secrets? More adventures? Whatever it is, I know we'll face it together—me, Ladybug, and Cat Noir.
