Chapter 6: Talk

Jihyo and I were walking in the hallways at school when we heard some banging and screaming in the bathroom. When we walked in the scene was heartwarming to say the least and we found Sana screaming and you on the floor.

At that, Jihyo decided to go with Sana and I with you.

"I am sorry."

It  came out like a gasp, tears welling up from her black eyes and falling down her face like a waterfall. Her face was red and her vision blurred from all the crying. Of course, you weren't looking at her, you were sitting facing your lap, while pressing your cheek and your elbows rest on your knees.

"Sana's sorry. She's always sorry for everything she does. She's sorry she can't be the best girlfriend. She's sorry she keeps fucking around. She's sorry for being a burden."You told me once.

But of course, her apology fell on deaf ears.

"Whatever." You said with your heart broken into a billion pieces. No matter how many times you heard an "excuse me" from your black-eyed girlfriend, it still hurt like a knife in your back or like you'd been hit by a train.

"Sana, calm down!"-Jihyo said- "Come, let's go outside to talk!" And she took Sana out of the bathroom.

When the two of us were alone, I approached slowly, I didn't want to upset you."Hey," I said gently.

"Don't look at me, at least not like that" you answered crying.

"As how?"

"Broken" - you answered looking me in the face.

There I realized the bruise you had on your eye and, although the fury I had inside was immense, when I saw you, tears automatically slipped from my eyes and I hugged you tightly.

"I'm here Minari, cry if you need, I'm here..."

"Nayeonnie... I... I have something to tell you, do you know why Sana and I fought?"

As Jihyo and I cleaned your face, I felt your steady gaze on me.

"Is something wrong, Mina?" I asked worried.

You slid into me and wrapped your arms around my neck, then rested your head on my shoulder.
