I used maps to get to the said restaurant because it's a new one and sincerely, I haven't been there before.

Just as I came down from my car and locked it, the sight I was met with left my mouth agape!

I remember vividly when Mrs. Umar said the restaurant is a new one and it's just a small one, nothing big. But this building in front of me is nothing small.

Looking at the outside alone, I already envisioned how people would troop in when it finally opens by 9am today. I really can't wait to walk in though those doors!

I locked the car and smoothened my pants and started walking in before I saw something that caught my eye.

There were two people standing. A man probably in his mid 20's and the woman is probably in her mid 30's. Judging by the scene, he seems like her boss.

On another hand, I feel he's either being too bossy because I don't know why he'd be speaking to her that way since from all ramifications she's way older than he's ! Or the woman did something so wrong.

But either ways....... I have no business with that.

Ignoring them and moving on with my life.

Raising my head up, I read the huge board beside the entrance that reads,

Oh wow!

I love the name already. It's just unfortunate that this is my first time here. Remembering Mrs. Umar said it's a new organization, barely a month old.

I'm so eager to start working here and experience the new life!

I quickly said a prayer and asked for Allah's guidance and help for I can't do it alone.

Upon entering, I felt that nervousness and dejà vu creeping in! The whole place is sparkling, indicating that it's being cleaned. With the cleaners busy with cleaning the table, arranging the chairs and the menu on each table. They really are hardworking because it's barely 07:30 and they're already close to finishing the cleaning.

I moved forward to the smiling hostess by my right, exchanged pleasantries and told her I came for my interview today

"Yeah, Mrs. Umar told me about you already. I'll call to inform her that you're here already. But before she drops by, I'll fill you in how everything works here and what you're expected to do to complete your interview.

My name is Maryam, the hostess. My assistant, Sarah would be here any moment.

And yeah, a host too.

You'll get to meet them by 9am tomorrow when we'll be having a meeting if you successfully pass your test.

So let's leave introduction for now and tell you the important stuffs you need"

**phone beeps indicating a new message**

"Mrs. Umar just sent a message. She asked me to introduce you to our chef. And said she's already explained to him what you are expected to do..

So without wasting more time, please follow me."

I did as instructed with my smile never leaving my face

On the way, she gave me informations about the chef. What he likes, what he hates and how he wants things to be done.

So yeah, chef 'who I don't know'..
