k3luvsclois- I know I'm the mastermind of this story, but what makes this writing partnership much better is the brilliant writing style of Enid. Her English writing skill and vocabulary are way better than I am. So, let's give a hand of applause to Enid - who knows we'll be having a career out of this different from balance sheets, income statements and cash flows. Hahaha! Am I daydreaming? Seriously, you're a gem DT, not only for us - the Smallville fans but most especially to your family. It's a blessing to know someone like you. ^_^ To the readers, after this we're planning another Clark and Lois story, but I'm not so sure if we'll be able to do that as soon as possible, I just hope you'll still be there if we're going to materialize the story. Deliverance Territory - Hi again everyone! This is the sequel for Yo-yo and Peanut Butter & Jelly. You can still read this one alone or first, but the intention was for Raincoat to follow Yo-yo. I am so happy that despite the obstacles, hurricanes and family turmoil, we finished this story. It is so cute and a nice follow-up of the first part. To Josai: You are so special and a really great partner. I will never get tired of saying this. :) To all of you, please review and comment as much as you like. Raincoat

2004- Smallville, KS

I never knew how to sew, but maybe this didn't count as sewing anyways. I used my mom's old machine, but it was useless. I even tried using hot glue, but it didn't work. What was I going to do? My hands were tired and hurt from the glue, my fingers bleed from the needles. It was a lost cause. My eyes betrayed me. They were warm and watery. I could feel something was different with me, with my way of thinking, of feeling, even with the way I talked to myself. I couldn't decide what it was. I was good at many things; hemming was not one of them neither figuring out my own feelings. I was never good at home economics anyhow.

Looking outside the window, I saw a clear sky. Darkened from the approaching night, but clear nonetheless. I sighed. Then I looked back at the piece of yellow coated nylon on my hand. I couldn't believe it was still in one piece, sort of. I must have worn it every time it rained for as long as it fitted me. I even wore it on sunny days, which gained me a couple of mocking laughs here and there, but I didn't care. It made me feel less lonely; it made me feel closer to home.
