“Aray! Ano ba ang sakit!” Quen struggled.
“Wag ka nga gumalaw! Ang gulo mo eh!” I said, trying to aid his bruises with a cotton ball and iodine.
“Dahandahan ka nga kasi eh!”
“Hay nako! Sige na nga, tapos na!”
“FINALLY!”
“Tse! Sasali ka ba sa sleepover namin ni Julia mamaya?”
“Ba’t ako sasama?! Girls night nyo kaya yun! Hindi naman ako babae no!”
“Tanga! Wala naman akong sinasabi na babae ka!”
“Basta! Hindi. Pag kailangan nyo ko, nandyan lang naman ako o.”
“Sige, sige.”
“I’ll stay with you, until Julia comes okay?”
I nodded and smiled at him.
After hours of waiting for Julia, she finally arrived.
“Bes!!!!!!!!” she hugged me as soon as she saw me.
She pulled away and looked at me worriedly.
“Ano nangyari ha?! KWENTO NA BILI.”
Quen laughed.
“Sige, alis na ko!”
“ALIS NA!” Juls hurried him and pushed him out of the house and closed the door.
“Tara!” she pulled me to my bedroom.
“Uy! Masyadong excited?!”
“Basta! Kwento na!” she hurried me, while we sat down on my bed.
“...fine.” I sighed.
I calmly told her everything that happened yesterday and everything that happened today. I put on a brave front, and didn’t cry.
While I was telling her the story, her face showed sadness.
I was finally done telling her the whole thing that happened.
“Jusko bes. I’m sorry.” she hugged me.
“Ano ka ba, wala na yun.” I faked a smile.
“Pag nakita ko talaga si Daniel. JUSKO HINDI KO LANG ALAM KUNG ANO GAGAWIN KO SA KANYA.” she said, pulling away from the hug.
“Pabayaan mo na, tapos na yun.”
“Bes...paano yung kasal nyo? Tuloy pa rin ba?”
I shrugged.
“..I guess. My parents don’t know what happened and even if they do, I don’t think they’ll stop the wedding.”
“Okay, basta! Tonight we’re going to have fun and forget our problems okay?!” she said, happily.
I nodded and smiled.
“PILLOW FIGHT!” she said as hit me with a pillow.
I screamed, and hit her back with a pillow.
Just as the pillow fight was getting intense, my phone rang.
“EP! Wait!” I stopped her from hitting me.
