“Baka bad mood lang sya kahapon?” she said.
“Ano naman? Sayang nga eh..”
“Sayang? Bakit?”
“Kasi gwapo sya, pero ang panget ng ugali nya.”
“May date kayo tonight di ba?”
“Oo, ano naman?”
“Get to know him first kaya bago ka mag-judge?”
“Ikaw na lang kaya magpakasal sa kanya?” I joked.
“Meron na akong asawa no, at mahal na mahal ko sya!” she said laughing.
“O cge na, tawagan na lang kita ulit, malapit na dumating sya dito eh.”
“Cge, bye bes! Goodluck!”
We hung up.
1 hour to get ready.

“YES MA!” I yelled back at her.

I opened my door to see my ecstatic mom.
I rolled my eyes at her.
“DJ! Hindi ka ba excited?!” she said excitedly.
“Ikaw nga mas excited sa akin eh.”
“Ang ganda naman ni Kath ah! Anong problema mo sa kanya?”
“Wala ma. I just don’t like the fact that you’re forcing me to marry someone I DON’T KNOW!”
“Eh di ba nga kaya nga magda-date kayo, to get to know each other?”
I gave her a look.
“Hay nako DJ! Basta get to know her! Be a gentleman!”
“Yes ma.”
“Kung hindi, sige ka! Sasapakin kita!”
“YES MA.”
“Oh, bilisan mo na! Kailangan mo pa syang sunduin diba?”
“Nandyan ka pa eh, how am I able to get ready?”
“Wow, umarte yung anak ko! Alam mo, nakita ko na yang lahat mo, tsaka lumabas ka sa akin ha! Kaya wag kang ano dyan!”
