Shindou is a smart individual,
He can tell when someone is lying,
Though he can't tell if their ace striker is...
His suspicions came when he skipped school for a whole month 2 years ago,
Will the secret be finally out in the open?
Third Persons POV:
Shindou Takuto is the tactician of Raimon. He's a 3rd year and also the sub - captain whenever Tenma is absent.
Tsurugi proved to him and Raimon that he can be trusted and is now an ally. However 2 years ago around February to March he was absent, no calls from him or any letters, he was informed by Tenma because he was already at Senior HighSchool.
He and his bestfriend talked about it but Kirino said maybe it was a personal problem.
But his suspicions grew more as he started skipping practice whenever it was September 23.
Whenever he asks his coach Kazemaru his reply was always “I'm sorry, but I can't tell you the reason why” or “It's a personal problem”.
Shindou was eager to know what was going on with his junior.
Then finally his bestfriend asked him about it.
September 23, 2022
Shindou's POV:
"Tsurugi, every September 23 why do you always get excused?" Kirino asks Tsurugi while facing him.
Shindou and the others turned their heads towards them curious,
"Kirino–senpai is right Tsurugi, I just noticed that now when senpai pointed that out." Hikaru stated and the others nod,
"Well uhm--" Kyousuke was in lost for words, he didn't know that this day would come.
"He can't come to practice right now because Yuuihci nii-san is coming back from college," Someone came beside Tusurgi,
It was Euclair Haru.
'What's she doing here?' Shindou thought to himself
"Well that's good that Yuuichi-san is back from college, but how about the other excuses from the past few years on this day also?" Shindou reminded Haru and both of them knew that they don't want to back down from this argument.
Tsurugi looks like he was about to be busted but Haru was able to get them out of there,
"Actually he was at his doctor's appointment and went to visit a friend, now will you excuse us we have to visit Yuuichi nii-san." Haru says closing the conversation. She hurriedly tugged on Tsurugi's sleeves to get them away from the crowd.
"Say Hello to Yuuichi-san for me!" Tenma shouts as they were walking away.
Everyone started doing their stretches except for two who was in the bathroom,
"He's so suspicious Ran! Seriously he keeps skipping practice every single time on this day!"
"Takuto maybe you're overreacting..." Kirino's says in a worried tone, "But Ran--!" Shindou tries to reason but Kirino had enough,
