Prachi and light completed there discussion on project and light spoke out of nowhere

She raises her eyebrow

Light:- I guess you aren't in good terms with your family are you?

Prachi:- what makes you think so?

Light:- the way your family twisted their faces when I introduce me as your friend and they didn't question further and even not welcomed me

Prachi:- honestly speaking I hate my family they too hate me so thats all you need to know at this moment.

Light:- would you mind having lunch with me tomorrow in the newly opened restaurant near our college

He was confused but hearing her he lets out a lil laugh

Light:- ms mehra what makes you think this way I jst ask for a lunch not a date

Prachi:- that's the same thing

Light:- woah!its not. You're taking it wrong way I mean I heard from our classmates that you were a topper so wanna know about you...

Prachi:- so you too want study tips from me but let me tell you....

Light:- wait a second let me complete my sentence look I honestly don't like interfering in anyone's life but you seem an interesting person to me to know you better I wanna take you for lunch besides that you could also get to know me

Prachi:- but I have boyfriend if he gets to know I'm going out for a lunch with a boy we would rip me off

Light:- tell him it's a friendly lunch and not a date

Prachi:- wait you don't seem from india where are you from

She eye's him suspiciously

Light:- yeah I'm a transfer student from Japan

Prachi:- umm what made you come to india anything serious

Light:- I guess your all questions will be answered if you say yes for the lunch

Light:- ok tomorrow 14:00 IST what say I will pick you from college till then bye see you tomorrow

He says while leaving the room but Prachi makes him stop on his tracks

Prachi:- not tomorrow this Sunday same timing no need to pick me I'll come by myself

He says while peeking through his right shoulder with a small smirk which Prachi failed to notice.he leaves and Prachi gets thinking .

Light's apartment

He came home back kept his bag on chair and plopped on bed but not before grabbing the apple from the fruit bowl and throwing it in air .Ryuk catches the apple and starts munching it
