Chapter 19.

ALEX POV:

It wasn't too late so I decide to go hang with Alessia for a bit. I haven't been as connected with her as I would hope and now is a good time. Take her to the Movie Room and we can watch a movie.

I exit my room and walk two doors down, knocking on her door. I wait a moment but no answer comes. I knock again and yet again no answer comes.

I say I'm going to enter and go to push the door open. When I enter the room was empty, I look in the bathroom and closet; no one.

I begin to slightly panic, if she's not in her room where could she be? I pray she hasn't been taken and run out of the room.

I search the kitchen, workout space, theatre- everywhere and anywhere I could think of.

I go to the security room and look at the tapes. A cut in the clip.

Running to Alessandro office as fast as I can. When I get to his door I forget to knock instead barging in. "Alessia, it's Alessia" I say panicked.

Andro stands from his chair "what do you mean Alex" he asks concerned.

"Alessia is not in her room or in the house, anywhere. She's missing"

His face blank he pulls out his phone and orders everyone to look for her in the property.

He says that we'll get the others and we can check out her room. We get the others and go to her room, we enter and we have a look around. We hear a thump on the balcony and everyone looks that way.

Then the door opens, someone enters. All our hands go to our guns. When close the door and look at us we realise- Alessia.

"ALESSIA!?!?!" Ambrose yelled.

"where the fuck have you been?!?" I question. "We've been worried sick!" I state.

But really I just relieved she's ok and didn't get kidnapped.

ALESSIA POV:

Shit.

"Well? Where have you been?" Elijah asks.

"Out?" I say, but it comes out more like a question.

Elijah sighs "Alessia tell us where you went, now"

I think of something on the spot "to a friends place" I mutter out, to make it seem legit.

"Ok, how did you get past security then?" He asks

"Well it wasn't that hard, especially when they do a bogus job at well... their job" I tell them. "Anyone with 2 brain cells could get past them"

Dante cuts in, "what about the camera? They're top of the business it would take a professional to hack them"

I roll my eyes and smile, "again, 2 brain cells. Not that hard"

They all look at me, something in their eyes.

They ask me more questions, until I tell them enough and I'm having a shower.

Damn I should have left that note.

The next morning I get up for school and get ready as usual. I head down stairs and take my seat at the dining table.

"You're taking the day off today, we want to check... somethings" Alice tells me.

I have suspicions but agree to these tests

After breakfast I go back to my room and change into some comfy clothes. Alice said to bring a change of clothing, something for more physical activities.

I get to the lounge, where they are all waiting for me. They then take me to Alice's office and tell me that I can sit.

I then run to the 'big boss chair', leaning back and smiling. They roll there eyes and Alice turns on the computer.

He then tells me to show him how I hacked into their security. "Your first task is to hack into here, do that and you will move on"

I raise an eyebrow before turning to the screen and start getting into the security system.

(Idk how hacking works, pls don't fact check me on any of this. But for the stories sake pls don't say anything. She's supposed to be smarter and better than them😭 p.s. she is)

Within a few minutes I was in, I turn the screen to them and they inspect it. With the ability to see what the camera sees and to cut them, or pause them.

"Is that all you needed me to do or can leave?" I ask. Alice say that we are not done, and that we are going to the workout space.

We get there and we go into the changing rooms to change. After changing we all start warming up individually and after that we head over to the ring.

Rose voice comes over the speaker "now time for a demonstration, first up we have Elijah Romero and Matteo Romero!" he says over the speaker, even though he could have done it staying right next to us.

Elijah and Matteo get up into the ring and meet in the middle. Rose jumps into the ring with mic in hand. "Are you guys ready?" He questions them.

They nod and shake hands as an answer, before separating and getting into fighting stances.

Rose brings his hand up before slashing it down. "fight!" He says, marking the start of the fight.

They circle each other, and after a minutes of assessing they both go in for the kill.

Elijah goes to hook Matteo, but he ducks in time sending Elijah facing away from Matteo's attack.

Elijah try's to turn in time but fails and gets hit in the face with Matteo's own punch.

He stumbles but gets back to his feet and steadies himself, getting back into his fighting stance.

Matteo was about to go up and finish him off but we hear all their phones beep. Alice is the first one to bring it out and look at it.

"Shit" he says, "Alex take Alessia to the back and get her out of here, the rest of you with me" he orders.

Alex and I go to leave, he goes to take me to the back door but I run upstairs instead. "Alessia what are you doing!" He yells quietly.

"Just follow me" I tell him. I take him to my bed room before opening the balcony door and going outside.

The balcony has a good view of the back garden, and as I suspected we were being attacked but I can't make out by who at the moment.

If we were to go out the back, they would have to us.

I quietly jump over the railings and on to the roof. "What are you going?" Alex asks, as quietly as possible to the people down there don't hear us.

"Getting us out of here"
