Next up is my second favourite girl, and look how cute she is with that uniform.
=================================
The rest of Sunday went by quickly. After my confession to Rem and Ram, the three of us went on another date, but to a slightly more classy place compared to a fast-food place. There was a restaurant they knew and they wanted to return a favour, so I agreed.
However, all the same, I do need something to help get my education back up even though I'd been getting by for a few years. After I took them back to their home which wasn't far away from my place, I received a phone call when I was in my room.
"Huh? Oh, it's my Dad."
I answered it.
"Hey there, my son. How are things going?"
"Hey, Dad. You know, the usual. Except that..."
"Except what? Has something happened?"
"Yeah, you're gonna think I've finally lost it, but a few days ago..."
I explained to him what happened, except for the soulmate part.
"Well, that's fresh news to me! To think my son would finally catch some fish!"
My thoughts were confused. "Excuse me?"
"Oh don't worry, it's an expression. Still, I'm not gonna refuse something that can happen to one person. We all need love in our lives, and you're no exception, son."
"So you're okay with me dating more than one girl?"
"Well, since they're twins, they're most likely willing to share. And from what you've told me, they seem well-mannered and caring girls. They're willing to make time for you and that's what matters the most to me."
"Okay, I'm sure mom would say the same."
"Yes, she would. By the way, your mom wanted me to tell you that she'll be out of town for a while. She's on a short vacation and she was hesitant in leaving you. You know how she is."
"Yep, she likes to give me a lot of money each month."
"True, so the only way she agreed to it is if I was able to help you out. So yesterday afternoon, I had a lengthy talk with a high school principal. Let's say that I asked a favour when I made that donation to the school's funds, and that's where you come in."
"Wait, you mean that I'm going to..."
"That's right. First thing tomorrow morning, you're going to be a student at Lugunica Academy. I know it may seem a year late for you, but I think this could be good for you. Of course, this means you'll have to put those part-time jobs aside."
"Are you serious? You say that I should quit those jobs?"
"Oh, I'm not saying you should quit, son. Just let the employers know that you could do them on the weekend."
"Well, I'm not sure if they'll be okay with that."
"In that case, you can leave them to me. I'll have a talk with them. I do have their contact info after all."
"Okay, if you want to, Dad. Thanks for always looking out for me." I smiled. "It always seems like you're bailing me out every time something happens."
"That's not true, son. You're looking out for yourself very well and your Mom and I can trust you on that. We just want to make sure we have everything covered so your life can turn around."
