****Courtneigh's POV****
2nd November
9:34 AM
I woke up with absolutely no duvet, what so ever. Apparently Becky had decided she deserved it all.
I slowly clambered out of bed and shivered, Gah, it was so damn cold, so much for warm weather, my mum's an air-con addict. Always has it on wayyyy too high!
I walked over to my closet and pulled out an oversized grey jumper and uggs that blatantly looked fantastic with my pink pyjama shorts...
Becky was still fast asleep and I knew she hated being woken up so I left her all snuggly in MY duvet.
I walked downstairs and scurried across the cold kitchen floor towards the fridge, there was a pink love heart sticky note stuck onto the outside. Gah, this probably meant I had chores. Bee and I had planned a huge day out! I huffed and pulled it off of the fridge:
'Okay, Court, sweetie. There's some porridge oats in the cupboard if you want some. Oh and you have to look after Matthew for me today. Sorry it's so last minute but the sitter was taken ill. Love you, Mum xx'
Great, now I had to babysit the most annoying 2 year old in the world
"What's wrong with you, face ache" Becky grumbled as she shuffled over towards the cupboards, she inspected it closely before grabbing some coco pops.
"Well apart from the fact shopping today is cancelled because I have to babysit. It's all great" I complained sarcastically. I'm sorry, I'm not a morning person
"Just bring him along... It'll be fine." Bee said, shovelling down a mouthful of coco pops. Attractive.
"Fine. But I'm not going to pretend I'm happy about it." I grumbled heading to get Matty ready.
After dressing Matthew in some clothes I bought for his Birthday just recently, I focussed on getting myself ready, leaving Bex to feed him his breakfast. That should go swimmingly.
Like, I mean Becky had suggested a big bowl of cereal, but I couldn't handle re-dressing him. So Carrot Sticks it was! Ha-ha. I'm a terrible person.
Anyway. Bee was yelling some crap at me, begging for me to hurry up and get ready for one reason or another. I don't know, I was too busy trying to decide, black hoody or cream cardigan?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After settling for the cream cardigan (Click the external link, link ->) and leaving for the shopping centre we encountered Matthews first tantrum just as we entered. Great
"I WANNA WALK!" Matthew screeched from his pram. Kicking his arms and legs around
"Matthew, Shh. People are looking. If you be quiet you can walk when we get to the shops." Bee tried reasoning. I was getting seriously annoyed with him okay, I'm not equip to handle a 2 year old brat.
"Matthew. I swear to god, if you don't stop we're going straight home and I won't be at all happy with you. Now shut up and sit back." I said sternly, pushing the pram faster, I had earned a few looks from disapproving shoppers.
So after buying bundles of new clothes, Matthew had actually behaved himself. I'm good at this!
"Do you want to walk for a little bit now, Matty?" I asked, taking some bags from Becky and placing them in the basket under his seat
"Yes please!" Me and Bee chuckled to each other before she leant down to un-buckle him.
"Hold my Hand, Matthew" Becky said whilst holding out her hand, instead he ran off. Oh no.
"I'm going to kill him!" I huffed, handing Bee the pram as I ran after him.
"Matthew, get here NOW!" I screeched, overcome with anxiety. That's when he headed towards a huge group of boys. Oh my god... I recognised them, They were the ones that threw the eggs at me.
"Matty, please!" I yelled again. I desperately wanted to avoid these boys, but all of my pleading was to no avail as Matthew ran straight into the middle of the group.
As I approached them, I saw one of them pick Matthew up. "Where's ya mum" I heard one ask. Matthew said nothing. He just looked in my direction as I stormed towards them, staring directly back at Matty.
"What did I tell you, Matthew? We're going home. And don't think you're getting those sweets I bought for you." I said, Trying to hide my quivering voice. I held out one arm signalling for the boy to hand my cousin over.
The group of boys looked me up and down before sniggering. I knew exactly what they were thinking. Nice one.
"Can you give me my cousin now please." I said avoiding eye contact with any of them, the boy handed Matthew over to me without a word
"Cousin? For a minute there I thought he was yours" The boy that held Matthew said after a few seconds.
I scoffed loudly before heading back to Becky. As I headed towards Bee I saw her sat with a bunch of boys. Wow. She moves quick! Ha-ha. As I got closer I instantly recognised Luke. Great.
I exhaled loudly before buckling Matthew back in his pram which resulted in me getting half of my ribs kicked in and a nose bleed.
"Are you okay?" James asked as I held my sleeve on my nose. I was so close to crying my eyes out because it fucking hurt.
"Yep" I managed to croak out. Before I knew it all of the boys and and Becky were fussing over me
"Squeeze your nose and tip your head back!" Beau instructed
"No, Muppet! That's dangerous. You need to hold the bridge of your nose and lean your head between your knees!" Bee argued
"Ouch! Guy's stop, you're making it worse!" I yelped, cupping my nose.
there was a chorus of 'sorrys' and then an awkward silence.
"We should take this one home" Becky cooed to Matthew.
"Yeah, before I decide to sell him off to the highest bidder." I said coldly. My entire day was ruined, my face was ruined, my cardigan was ruined. Great.
"Well why don't you and Luke take him back and meet us here, we can text Luke a place" Jai said, motioning to me and Luke with his phone.
"Whatever." I smiled, trying oh my hardest not to show how pissed off I was.
I had to go home and hope to god my mum was home. Otherwise I'd have to stay in, and no doubt Luke would much rather get back to his friends than sit around babysitting Bratty Matty with captain pissy pants over here.
