A Continental pride,
A black nation adored all over the world,
A nation filled with democracy and equality,
A nation fast growing in economy, wealth, culture, and heritage,
A nation filled with abundance of resources,
A nation known for its peace and unity,
A nation filled with destinies waiting to reveal it’s crown,
A nation filled with ambitious people, craving success
That is my dream for my great nation reverenced all over the world as the giant of Africa.
In the Nigeria of my dreams, there is no poverty,
People have enough to eat and drink,
Mothers do not eat their children due to lack of food,
Nigeria is not be a dinning table where people feast upon people,
The abundance of resources in my dream Nigeria is effectively used,
We have good economy in the Nigeria of my dreams
There is no need to take loans from other country,
We all work hard in the agricultural sector for productivity,
And ensure that we all move forward day by day.
There is no form of corruption and injustice in the Nigeria of my dreams,
There is no room for unfair judgement,
There is no room for bad governance,
We serve our father’s land with love, strength and faith in the Nigeria of my dreams,
We defend our unity and uphold The honor and the glory of the country,
We have good leaders in the Nigeria of my dreams,
Leaders that shows us the good way,
A leader that leads us on the path of love,
A leader that is far from being corrupt and partial.
We have job opportunities in the Nigeria of my dreams,
Graduates finish from their school and find good jobs,
There is no social problems that can be caused by unemployment,
People are been paid well for their hard work,
Lawyers work in a country where laws are being implemented,
News casters are truthful and accurate when casting news,
Other jobs follow their ethical codes and work very hard.
Nigeria is known for peace in the comity of nations in the Nigeria of my dreams,
Nigeria is far from being in sorrow on a daily basis just because of insecurity,
When bandits, herdsmen, kidnappers, and many more arise,
We all gather and fight them with the unity we have.
Divided we stand, and united we fall.
People are free to serve with ever religion they wish to serve in the Nigeria of my dreams,
There is no cry for self help in my dream Nigeria.
We are all faithful, loyal and honest in the Nigeria of my dreams,
We serve Nigeria with all our strength with the help of God,
When we hear the call to obey, we all rise and obey in the Nigeria of my dreams,
The labor of our heroes past is never in vain in my dream Nigeria,
Our youths are taught how to be truthful and in love and honesty, they will grow,
We are all just and true in our living in my dream Nigeria,
We all serve with heart and might in the Nigeria of my dreams,
And as we grow, we all work together build a nation where peace and justice shall reign!
