Gia's pov ➡️Flashback⬅️ I walk down to the lake and see Daniel sitting there so I sit next to him "Hey." I lay my head on his shoulder "I'm gonna miss you." He nods in agreement and I weakly smile "I can't believe my dad forbade me from seeing my best friend." He still doesn't say anything "Daniel?" Are you gonna say something?" He still doesn't say anything and I put my head on his shoulder.

"I'm going to Maya's." I lie to my parents then walk out of the house and go to the lake -where we usually meet- then take off my sandals and sit down "Hey." I look up and see Daniel "Hey there." He sits next to me "I haven't seen you in a while." He tells me "I'm sorry, my family has been... frustrating lately." I lay my head in his lap "The misery of having my parents hate my best friend." He begins playing with my hair and I look up into his eyes "You said you wanted to ask me something and you didn't wanna do it over text?" He nods while playing with my hair. It goes quiet for awhile and he grabs my hand "Will you go on a date with me?" I sit up, still looking into his eyes, and nod before he kisses me.
~The Next Day~
"I'm going to Maya's house." I lie and my mom and dad stop me "You better just be going to Maya's." "I am." I lie and they move out of the way and I walk out and go to the lake, I get there and hear music playing so I look up and see Daniel standing next to this

I walk over to him, speechless, I sit down on a pillow and he sits on his. He looks into my eyes and I smile "You always manage to leave me speechless no matter what you do." He opens the bottle of wine and pours some in our wine glasses "Thank you." We clink our glasses together and take a drink. Daniel puts his wine glass down and opens the basket and pulls the food out. He grabs a grape then feeds it to me and I do the same to him and giggle "You know, I was scared when you texted me." I tell him as he feeds me some grapes "Why?" He asks before I feed him a grape "I thought you were gonna tell me we can't be friends anymore." I tell him and he shakes his head "Oh god no, never." "Good because if I didn't have you in my life, I'd go insane... I mean more insane." He chuckles and playfully rolls his eyes as we both grab a piece of pizza.
~Time Skip~
After we finish eating dinner and dessert, Daniel moves everything aside and rearranges the pillows, he lays down and I lay my head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat speeding up and I giggle "Nervous?" "Yeah." I kiss his neck a little "What are you doing princess?" I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me "This day has been perfect love." I nod in agreement "You make me so happy Gia." He grins from ear to ear while rubbing my back "I know, I can see that smile." He blushes as I giggle and kiss his cheek. He gets up and puts his hand out "Come on love." I look up at him, not knowing what's going on, I take his hand and get up "What are we doing?" I ask as we walk to the boat "Going for a boat ride." I nod and we get on the boat.
➡️Present⬅️ I walk to where Daniel and I usually meet and see Daniel on a picnic blanket with a bunch of food, like our first date, just without the boat "Hey baby." I run to Daniel and hug him tight "I missed you." I close my eyes and enjoy his embrace "It's only been a week princess." I smile at the name and pull away from the hug "I know but it's been a long week." I look up at him and he has the same grin he had on our first date. I sit down and so does he "So how have you been baby?" "Stressed like usual." I tell him and he frowns "Parents?" I nod and he holds my hand "Sorry I can't be there for you." He grabs the strawberries and grabs "Which one?" I point to the strawberries and he puts the grapes down and opens the package of strawberries then pulls a little dish of chocolate out of the picnic basket. I playfully roll my eyes and he laughs "What?" "You're just so cute."

After we eat all the food, Daniel puts some music on and stands up and so do I "May I have this dance?" He bows and puts his hand out, I giggle and take his hand "You're such a dork." He playfully rolls his eyes and pulls me in "I'm your dork." He smiles and so do I. He puts his hands on my waist and I wrap mine around his neck before we begin slow dancing, I look into his eyes "I love you princess." "I love you more my prince." He smiles as I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes as we continue dancing. After awhile of dancing we pull away from each other and I go to sit back down but he doesn't let me "No, not yet." I look at him curiously "Gia, I'm just gonna make it simple, I love you and my life would suck without you." He get down on one knee and pulls a little black box out of his jacket pocket, my eyes widen and my breath starts getting heavy as my heart starts racing "Will you marry me?" He asks with hope in his eyes and I smile and nod rapidly before he slips the ring on my finger.
We both lie down and I lay my head on his chest then he grabs my hand and I intertwine our fingers "I love you so much." I look up at him and smile "I love you too." He kisses me and I kiss back. We sit up and Daniel takes his clothes off, I bite my lip and take my whole dress off so I'm in nothing but my bra and underwear and he's in his boxers "Damn." I blush a bit and straddle his lap "God, I need you bad." He whispers as I begin grinding on him and he moans and bites his lip.
