Y/n's pov
Today's the day, I can't believe I actually did it, I'm so happy with myself. I never believed I could do it but then I met my boyfriend Zach of 2 years and I started to believe I could. I just wish he could be here to see me walk across the stage but he's not, he's on tour and I get that it's his profession but I really want him here. I mean, he's the only person who believed in me.

Anyway, I go over to my vanity and start doing my makeup, I don't put that much on, just a little concealer, some eye makeup, which looks like this

After that I put some lip gloss on then I get up from my vanity I go to my closet and grab the dress I bought the other day

I put it on then take a picture in it on Snapchat and it just says I wish you were here, then I sent it to Zach and he replies back with a selfie and it just says I do too p.s- you look so beautiful babygirl, I reply back with thank you but I don't show my face. I have a big surprise for my girlfriend, I'm going to see her in L.A, we're in Nevada so it's not that far and we have a couple days before the next show and the guys suggested I should go see her because I've been really depressed lately and they think me seeing her will be good for me so I decided too.

Anyway, I'm staying with my friend for the night, I was gonna stay with my parents but I decided not too.

The ceremony is finally over and we all walked off stage then everyone left the auditorium. I look around for my parents and they wave at me smiling, I see Zach's parents and I walk over to them "Congrats sweetie, I'm so proud of you," mom said and I hug her "Me too baby," I heard a familiar voice say then I look behind me then he takes his sunglasses off "Oh my god, Zach," I run to him and hug him, I squeeze him tight "Okay, y/n/n, I love you but I can't breathe," I pull away "Sorry, I just missed you so much," "I did too babygirl," we kiss and I feel something that I haven't felt for a while... happiness. Zach intertwines our hands and all of us walk outside, some people start to recognize Zach and they come over "Omg Zach, I love you," one fan says "Can you autograph my shirt?" Another fan ask and he nods, he turns to me "Do you have a sharpie?" I nod and take the sharpie out of my purse then give it to him and he signs the girl's shirt "Omg, thank you so much," he hands the sharpie to me "No problem," he says then grabs my hand, looks at me and squeezes it three times, our signal for I love you, I fake smile "Why are you dating her?" A fan asks with a disgusted face "She's my everything," he looks at me and smiles, I fake smile again "You're so much better then her though," my fake smile turns into a frown then I take my hand away from his and start to cry then I run off to my car and start the engine

I press on the gas pedal but Zach runs in front of the car, I slam on the brakes and he tries to open the door but it's locked so I unlock it and he gets in and looks in my eyes "Hey, she's wrong baby," I shake my head "No, they're right Zach, I'm not good enough for you," I cry even more "Baby, let's trade places, you shouldn't drive while crying," I nod and we trade places and we go to my house. The whole car ride to my house was quiet beside me crying.
