Gia's pov
I get home and go inside, I quietly close the door then the lights turn on and I see Nick. I look at him but I don't say anything "Did you not see my text? I told you to be back by 11:30," I still don't say anything. He walks over to me and slaps me across the face then throws me down on the floor "Why don't y-" he stops "IS THAT A FUCKING HICKEY?!" I still don't say anything and he drags me upstairs and takes me to the room. He throws me in the room "WHO'D YOU FUCK?" "I didn't fuck anyone," I lie "QUIT FUCKING LYING, WHO'D YOU FUCKED YOU LITTLE SLUT!!" He slaps me again "Fine," I look him in the eyes "I fucked Daniel," I tell him and he punches me. I fall on the floor and he bends down "I've been cheating too," I look at him and he's smirking "You wanna know who with?" I don't say anything "Madison," he tells me as I stand up "My best fucking friend?!" He nods and I slap him and he slaps me back then he goes downstairs and I hear the door open and close. I lay down on the bed and begin crying, soon my eyes start getting heavy and I fall asleep.

~The Next Day~

I wake up and go to the bathroom, I look in the mirror and there's a few bruises on my arms and legs and I have a black eye. I start crying and I go back to my room, I grab my phone and text Daniel

I put my phone back down and I lay down on my bed and I close my eyes and soon lay there.

~Time Skip~

The doorbell rings and I go downstairs "Breathe," I open the door and see Daniel standing there. He looks at me and I move out of the way and he walks in, I shut the door then we go upstairs to the room "What the fuck did he do to you?!" He asks, pacing back and forth. I sit down on the bed "He saw my hickey and asked me who I fucked, at first I denied that I fucked anyone but he didn't believe it so he slapped me then I told him it was you then he punched me. Also he told me he's been cheating on me with my best friend, Madison so I slapped him and he slapped me then he left," "I'm gonna fucking kill him," he turns around and goes to leave but I grab his arm "Daniel," he stops and looks at me. I lay down "Can you just come and hold me?" I ask and he comes and lays next to me and wraps his arms around me.

"I missed this the most," I cuddle into his chest and he squeezes me tight. I close my eyes "I'm never letting you go as long as I live, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me," he tells me and I smile. I cuddle into his chest more than I hear the door open "Mommy," I see Juliana and Adelina walk in and I sit up "Hey girls," I look at Daniel "Who's that mommy?" Juliana asks, shyly "This is your daddy," they both smile and get on the bed and begin jumping around, we both laugh and I go to say something but I hear the door downstairs.

"I'll go handle it, you stay here with the girls," I tell Daniel. He nods then I go downstairs and see Nick "Get out of my house Nick," He ignores me and walks upstairs to the room "What the fuck are you doing here?!" I hear as I run upstairs to the room. I look at the girls "Girls, go to your room and play or something, we'll go to grandma's later," I tell them and they run to their room "What is he doing here?" I don't answer him and he slaps me "Answer me slut!" I still don't say anything and he slaps me again and I fall to the floor.

Daniel's pov
Gia gets up and looks at Nick "Get out of my house now," Gia tells him and I see him grab her wrist "Don't tell me what to do," he growls at her. The next thing I know, he's on the floor and my knuckles are bruised and there's blood on them "Get out of her fucking house," he stands up "I'll be back for my stuff," "They'll be on the porch," I say then he goes downstairs then we hear the door open and close.

Gia starts crying so I go over and hug her "It'll be okay," I tell her while I run my hands through her hair. I pick her up and lay her down on the bed then I lay down next to her and pull her into my chest "I love you so much," I say as she continues crying into my chest, I kiss her forehead and she eventually falls asleep.

~Time Skip~

Gia's pov
I wake up from my nap and I don't see Daniel. He must've left. I get out of bed and go to the girls room "Girls get ready t-" I see Daniel sitting on the floor with the girls. He looks at me then gets up and comes over to me "I thought you left," I tell him "Never," he hugs me.

Adelina walks over "Are we still going to mamaw's today?" She asks "Actually, we're going to grandma Keri's and you're staying over there for a couple days so go get some clothes packed," they smile and run to their closet to get their suitcases. I stand up "They've met my mom?" "Yeah, she came to visit us in the hospital," he doesn't say anything and just looks down. I grab his chin, making him look up "Hey, don't be upset, I wanted you to meet them but Nick kept telling me that he'll beat me if I ever go near you again," I tell him and kiss his cheek. The girls come running to me "Mommy, we're ready," "Let me check it," I go check their suitcases and they're completely filled with toys. I roll my eyes, playfully "There's no clothes in here," I say and both of them turn around "Go downstairs with daddy and I'll pack your suitcases," they go downstairs with Daniel as I begin packing their clothes.

~Time Skip~

We get to Keri's and I get the girls out of their car seats as Daniel grabs their little suitcases out of the trunk. We walk to the door and knock, Keri answers the door "Hello Gia, hello Ni-," she looks at Daniel "Wait, Daniel? Wait, what happened to you Gia?" "Mom, can we just come in?" Keri moves aside then me, Daniel and the girls walk in. The girls sit on the couch and Keri turns on the tv and puts cartoons on "Let's go to the kitchen," we go to the kitchen and sit down at the table "Tell me everything," "Well, first, I saw Daniel while I was walking the other day, second, my soon to be ex, did all this," I say, pointing to some of my bruises "Third, I'm gonna give us another chance," "Wait really?"
