I sat down on the bench and started to scroll through inktok (TikTok). It was entertaining and it distracts me. Plus it gives me something to do since interacting with other people is hard for me to do. I started giggling to myself when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"EEK!" I screeched, jumping a bit off the bench. I turned my head quickly to be straight face-to-face and in eye contact with a guy that has pink colored tentacles and very handsome eyes..I could stare at them all day...he's so-
"Like whatcha see~🎵?" He suddenly said, making me snap back to reality.
"H-huh?" I said, turning my head away quickly, while blushing a bright shade of (I/C). "S-sorry"
"It's alright~ Mind if I sit next to you~🎵?" The guy slurred. I nodded quickly,still blushing but a little less than before. "Sooo~ What's your name cutie~🎵" He said a few minutes later. I flinched and looked at him again. Did he just call me..𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦?? Nobody has ever done that before..well besides my parents.
"U-uhm..m-my name is (Y/N)!!" I blurted out, a little louder than I expected. 𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛𝘛!! I literally just voice cracked around this guy who keeps flirting with me and and and and!!!
"That's a cute name for a cute girl~🎵" He winked, smirking. I immediately turned away, feeling my face get hot again.
"My name's Aloha~! Nice to meet you (Y/N)~🎵" He smiled. I freaked out internally. I didn't want this to happen, oh I should've just stayed home today..(magic school bus reference!1!2). I just went back and scrolled through inktok again until Aloha PUT HIS ARM AROUND ME AND PUSHED ME CLOSER TO HIM.
"H-huh? W-wh-wha?" I spluttered flinching, blushing again and looking at him AGAIN.
"Hm~🎵??" Aloha looked at me in the eye and I got lost in his eyes again. So handsome. So pretty. So beautiful. So everything. When I snapped back to reality again, I realized my phone was going off. I was getting spammed by my friends again. I had to vigorously type for them to stop and I didn't notice Aloha was looking over my shoulder.
"Hey sweetie~🎵.." He whispered in my ear which made me freak out again. I fell off the bench in fear and ended up having a scratch on my knee.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!!" He said, getting up. He wasn't talking in a flirtatious tone anymore, does that mean he actually worried? He searched his pockets for something and got out a band-aid and he put it on my knee for ME.
"(Y/N), I'm really sorry. I..I didn't mean for that to happen cutie~🎵" Nevermind. He's flirting again.
"I gotta go back to where I came from (Y/N)~ Here's my number, maybe call or text me~🎵" He said, giving me a piece of paper with his number on it. "Bye!" He said, running back towards the main part of town.
After a few months had passed, I got used to his flirting and got more comfortable around him. I think I have a thing for him though, ever since the start. Today, I will have the courage to ask him out. I called Aloha.
"Yes~?" Aloha answered.
"Hi Aloha! It's me (Y/N), could you meet me at the park in an hour at around 9pm?"
"Sure love~ What is it for though hm~? Are you gonna confess your love~🎵" He said jokingly.
"...stop doing that" I said, flustered on the other side of the phone.
"Alright, alright..see you in an hour beautiful~🎵" Aloha hung up the phone. I was embarrassed, how did he know? Oh wait. He's just flirting with me again. Like he always does with other people. It's normal. I'm fine. I'm totally okay. I decided to arrive 10 minutes earlier and sat down on the bench where we first met, scrolling through my phone again. I didn't notice the time fly and after 10 minutes Aloha had sat next to me and I still didn't notice him.
"Hey (Y/N)? Did you really just call me over for me to just watch you use your phone.." Aloha said, sounding kind of disappointed. I flinched again.
"S-sorry!! I didn't notice you Aloha.."
"It's alright..what do you need cutie~ Are you finally confessing your burning hot firey love for dear sweet old Aloha~🎵?" He joked
"I..I need to tell you something."
"..."
I took a deep breath and looked Aloha in the eye. Aloha stared back at me and I leaned forward and kissed him. I did it. I kissed him. I let him know. I did it. Aloha on the other hand was a blushing a bright shade of pink and his eyes were wide with shock. I pulled away looking to the side.
"I love you Aloha.." I muttered, loud enough for only him to hear. To my shock, he grabbed my arm and hugged me.
"I love you too (Y/N)!" He said, breaking the hug so that we could be face to face. "You don't know how long I've really wanted to hear that~🎵" I hugged him again, finally happy that my burden of being rejected was finally lifted. I had the man of my dreams, Aloha and nobody else did.
