As the dusk sets in, blazing sun rays fading away,
The herd decides to tread back to their place.
And a cow gets lost from the herd, distracted
But it keeps grazing itself in the darkness.It has no resting place under the huge sky
And it conceals pain under its thick skin.
Pensive yearn churns out from distant,
Coming from afar, how lonely it wanders !It chances to find an oak tree standing apart;
Squeezing, trying to get it's piece of shade.
Still searching for that trunk to lean on,
In a thousand years it will not depart.
