This is Halloween 🎃 - Leo x Reader

This Halloween, you were Sally and Leo was Jack from the Nightmare Before Christmas, only the most romantic and spooky pair ever. 

You were kind of a geek about the movie, having seen it many times. Every Halloween and Christmas Eve (because the movie is obviously appropriate for both holidays), you made it a tradition to see it. You had a lot of the merch too, from mugs, to blankets, plushies and figurines, decorations, clothes, even cozy slippers. 

You were shameless in your obsession. 

Though despite it, you never dressed up as any of the characters from the movie before. You either had other ideas you wanted to try or you weren't able to find or create the right costume in time.

But this year, you didn't have other costume ideas so you decided to go as Sally. You asked Leo if he wanted to be the great Pumpkin King and he agreed. This, matched with your love for Halloween in general, made you especially giddy.

He said he wanted to return the favor, since you went as an alien from space heroes last year (and he was Captain Ryan, of course). You repeatedly told him you were glad to dress up as his fictional crush (which he denied but you saw the look on his face...) 

April had said it was the same look Donnie had when she wore that yellow jumpsuit, which only proved your claim. 

Regardless, you told Leo that because he agreed to do this with you, you'd get his costume ready. You got some things from the thrift store and a few online.

Come Halloween night, after you got dressed up, you went down to the lair, bags in hand.

As you got closer to the turtles' home, you could hear the distant sound of upbeat Halloween music. 

"Knock knock." You called, walking right in. 

You greeted everyone, there were a lot more familiar faces around this year, including the Mutanimals, Renet, and Mona.   

"Y/n, fashionably late as always." Karai teased. 

"Hey, all this takes time," you gestured to your outfit. "I see I got here before April and Casey." You said, leaving two bags on the couch and making your way over to the refreshments table. 

"You didn't, they went uptop for more pizza," Shinigami said. "Mondo and Mikey ate all of the ones we had."

"Of course." You said, setting the snacks you brought with you on the table, organizing them. "Is Leo in the dojo?"

"For once, no. He's helping Donnie with his costume." Karai said, taking a cup and pouring a drink for herself.  

You talked with Shini and Karai until Leo and Donnie came out of the lab. 

"Hey, Y/n!" Leo waved.

"Hey, Leo!" 

Suddenly, Mikey in his mummy costume, came in running and screaming, a flurry of bandage wraps. He grabbed his older brother by the arm and hid behind him, trying to catch his breath.

Leo stumbled a bit. "What happened, Mikey?"

"Raph's mad 'cause I used his sai to carve the pumpkins!" He said, pulling a few wrappings out from under his foot. 

"I told you not to touch them!" Raph snapped, sounding like he was getting dangerously close. 

Mikey yelped and hid behind you.
